It’s a third consecutive week at Number One in the French albums chart for Les Prêtres with Amen (12,918 sales / -38%). It’s not very surprising to see them at the top for multiple weeks, as their Spiritus Dei spent ten weeks at Number One from April 2010 to January 2011, and Gloria five weeks in May and June 2011.
In her ninth week inside the top 10, Indila is back up one place at two with Mini World (12,608 sales / -26%). Stromae‘s Racine Carrée also climbs one at number three in its 36th week inside the four (!) best-sellers (10,624 sales / -7%).
Patrick Sébastien gets his first top 10 album as Ça Va Être Ta Fête ! debuts at four (7,611 sales). A L’Attaque was his highest-charting LP, it reached number 15 in April 2013. Jean-Louis Aubert falls three places at five with Aubert Chante Houellebecq – Les Parages Du Vide in his second week on the chart (6,929 sales / -65%).
After a three-week absence, Florent Pagny moves back inside the top 10 as Vieillir Avec Toi jumps from 15 to number six (5,616 sales). In its seventh week inside the ten best-sellers, the Frozen soundtrack (La Reine Des Neiges) is a non-mover at seven (5,254 sales / -25%).
If You Wait is up three places at eight for London Grammar to spend a sixth week in the top 10 (4,966 sales). Pharrell Williams slips one at number nine with G I R L in his eighth week inside the top 10 (4,864 sales). In its 49th week on the chart, Daft Punk‘s Random Access Memories is back up two places at ten (4,826 sales).
Four albums drop out of the top 10 this week. Last week’s new entry at number five, Miossec‘s Ici-Bas, Ici Même moves down to 13 (4,706 sales / -55%). Les Enfoirés fall eight places at 14 with Bon Anniversaire Les Enfoirés (4,593 sales / -48%), the album was Number One for four consecutive weeks in March and April. After 37 non-consecutive weeks inside the top 10, Maître Gims is down seven at number 16 with Subliminal (4,425 sales / -34%). The compilation NRJ Extravadance 2014 moves down seven places at 17 in its third week on the chart.
The compilation Planète Rap 2014 climbs five places at eleven in its second week in the top 250. Kyo‘s L’Equilibre moves back up two at number twelve, the album debuted and peaked at two in March.
The Cautionary Tales Of Mark Oliver Everett is the third top 30 album for Eels in France, as it enters at 21 (2,950 sales). Beautiful Freak reached number 17 in September and November 1996, and Electro-Shock Blues peaked at 24 in September 1998. In their third week on the chart, Plaza Francia are back up nine places at 22 with A New Tango Song Book.
In its 12th week inside the 250 best-sellers, Vieux Frères – Partie 1 jumps from 36 to number 24 for FAUVE, the LP entered at two in February. It’s a very good week for Zaz, her Recto Verso is up 16 places at 29 in its 51st week on the chart.
Lisa Angell gets her third top 40 album, as Frou Frou is new at number 33 (1,728 sales). Les Divines peaked at 31 in November 2011, and Des Mots… was number 30 in April 2013. ABBA‘s Gold – Greatest Hits re-enters at 34. Isleym‘s debut LP Où Ça Nous Mène debuts at number 45. It’s also the first top 50 album for Bigflo & Oli, their Le Trac enters at 49.
