In his 41st week on the chart (and sixth inside the top 10), Dutch DJ Bakermat has finally managed to claim the top spot of the French singles chart as “Vandaag” moves up one place (6,700 sales / -12%). Avicii is back up three at number two with “Wake Me Up !” in his 16th week inside the ten best-sellers (6,500 sales / -4%).
“Game Over” climbs three places at number three for Vitaa featuring Maître Gims in its third week in the top 10 (6,300 sales / =), the song is Vitaa‘s first top three hit, and the third for Maître Gims as a solo artist, after “J’Me Tire” (Number One for four weeks in March and April), and “Bella” (number three in June).
After six consecutive weeks at the top, Stromae‘s “Formidable” is down to four in its 14th week inside the ten best-sellers (6,200 sales / -19%). In his tenth week in the top 10, Martin Garrix slips one place at five with “Animals”. DVBBS & Borgeous both get their first top 10 hit as “Tsunami” moves up six at number six in its fourth week on the chart (4,600 sales).
“Love Me Again” spends a sixth week inside the top 10 as it’s back up six places at seven for John Newman. Stromae is down one at number eight with “Papaoutai” in his 19th week in the top 10 (4,300 sales / -20%). In its fifth week inside the ten best-sellers, “La La La” slips one place at nine for Naughty Boy featuring Sam Smith.
In its fifth week on the chart, “Talk Dirty” climbs five at number ten for Jason Derülo featuring 2 Chainz (4,200 sales). The song is the second top 10 hit for both artists, Jason Derülo peaked at ten in March 2010 with “Whatcha Say”, and 2 Chainz reached number nine in June 2013 with “We Own It (Fast & Furious 6)” as a featured artist with Wiz Khalifa.
Three songs drop out of the top 10 this week. After just one week inside the ten best-sellers, “Berzerk” slips one place at eleven for Eminem. Miley Cyrus falls four at number 13 with “Wrecking Ball” in her ninth week on the chart. As predicted, Mylène Farmer is down a massive 58 places at 61 with “Monkey Me” in her fifth week in the top 200 (900 sales / -88%).
“Safe And Sound” is up one place at 15 for Capital Cities in its 14th week inside the top 200. Ellie Goulding climbs four at number 16 with “Burn” in her eighth week on the chart (2,800 sales). In its 30th week inside the 200 best-sellers, “Blurred Lines” moves back up seven places at 18 for Robin Thicke featuring T.I. and Pharrell (2,500 sales), the song was at the top of the French singles chart for six non-consecutive weeks in June and July. Stromae gets a fourth top 20 hit as “Tous Les Mêmes” is up five at number 19 in its ninth week in the top 200, the first three have all reached the top.
Eminem is new at number 23 with “Rap God”. In her sixth week on the chart, Lorde climbs 12 places at 25 with “Royals”. It’s a very good week for Maître Gims, his “Ça Marche” (featuring The Shin Sekaï) moves up 13 at number 29 in its 14th week inside the top 200.
“A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)” is back up a massive 137 places at 33 for Fergie, Q-Tip & GoonRock in its 23rd week on the chart (1,400 sales), the song reached number 27 in July. Zaz gets her fifth top 40 hit as “Si” climbs 68 places at 34 (1,400 sales), “On Ira” peaked at number 12 in May.
In its fourth week inside the 200 best-sellers, “Hey Brother” moves up 75 at number 38 for Avicii (1,400 sales). Justin Bieber enters at 40 with “All That Matters”, his “Heartbreaker” is already out of the top 200 after debuting at number 26 last week.
