Week Ending 26th May 2013 / Singles Chart

As they rule the albums chart in a very impressive way, Daft Punk (featuring Pharrell Williams) spend a sixth consecutive week at the top of the singles with “Get Lucky” (26,226 sales / +12%), the song has sold 173,545 downloads so far. This week you can find 14 Daft Punk‘s songs in the top 200, “Give Life Back To Music” (number 23 / 2,715 sales), “Instant Crush” (number 29 / 2,199 sales), “Love Yourself To Dance” (number 21 / 2,145 sales), “Contact” (number 46 / 1,406 sales), “Giorgio By Moroder” (number 54 / 1,207 sales), “Doin’ It Right” (number 63 / 1,043 sales), “Fragments Of Time” (number 100 / 676 sales), “Within” (number 109 / 646 sales), “Beyond” (number 115 / 623 sales), “Harder Better Faster Stronger” (number 132 / 540 sales), “One More Time” (number 136 / 512 sales), “Around The World” (number 140 / 485 sales), and “Touch” (number 171 / 398 sales).

In its eighth week in the top 10, “Blurred Lines” is back up one place at two for Robin Thicke featuring T.I. and Pharrell even if its sales are down for the first time (11,700 sales / -9%). Maître Gims climbs one at number three with “Bella” in his third week in the top 10 (10,364 sales / +5%). As his album Subliminal enters at two, Maître Gims‘ former number one “J’Me Tire” moves up two places at four in its 11th week inside the ten best-sellers (7,680 sales / -0.3%).

There is no change at five for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton with “Can’t Hold Us” in their 11th week in the top 10 (6,800 sales). In its second week inside the top 10, it’s up one at number six for Major Lazer featuring Busy Signal, The Flexican & FS Green (5,700 sales / -5%). As it’s used in a TV ad for the Peugeot 2008, “Home” climbs a massive 17 places at seven for Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros in its second week on the chart (4,900 sales).

In its ninth week inside the ten best-sellers, “Just Give Me A Reason” is up one at number eight for P!nk featuring Nate Ruess (4,800 sales / -13%). Alex Hepburn slips one place at nine with “Under” in her seventh week in the top 10 (4,500 sales). “Play Hard” also spends a seventh week in the top 10 as it’s back up one at number ten for David Guetta featuring Ne-Yo & Akon (4,400 sales).

Two songs drop out of the top 10 this week. After ten weeks inside the top 10, The Lumineers are down three places at 13 with “Ho Hey”, the song peaked at six in March and April. Last week’s highest new entry at two, “Quand Il Pète Il Troue Son Slip” falls 12 at number 14 for Sébastien Patrick (3,800 sales / -77%).

“Let Her Go” climbs five places at eleven for Passenger in its 10th week in the top 200. In his 17th week on the chart, James Arthur gets his peak position this week as “Impossible” moves up two at number 17 (3,217 sales).

The highest new entry of the week is for 2 Chainz & Wiz Khalifa at number 21 with “We Own It (Fast & Furious)” which is taken from the soundtrack of the movie “Fast And Furious 6”.

Georges Moustaki sadly passed away on 23rd May, he was 79 and his best known song “Le Métèque” (released in 1969) enters at number 30 with 2,200 sales, “Ma Liberté” is also new at 65.

Maître Gims has another song inside the top 50 as “One Shot” (featuring Dry) debuts at number 41 (1,616 sales). In its second week on the chart, “The Conversation” climbs a massive 84 places at 47 for Texas (1,400 sales), the song is Texas‘ 11th top 50 hit but the first since 2001 when “Inner Smile” peaked at 37 in March. Texas reached number four in December 1999 with “Summer Son”.

It’s already down 13 places at 92 for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest winner Emmelie De Forest with “Only Teardrops” in her second week in the top 200, last year’s winner Loreen reached number 26 with “Euphoria”.

Week Ending 26th May 2013 / Albums Chart

Incredible first week on the albums chart for Daft Punk‘s Random Access Memories, the album debuts at the top with 195,013 copies sold ! No album has sold that many since the week ending 12th November 2005 when Johnny Hallyday sold 208,771 CDs of Ma Vérité. We can also notice that the late Grégory Lemarchal had opened with 193,960 CDs sold of his album La Voix D’Un Ange in June 2007 just two months after his death. Random Access Memories sets a new record as it was downloaded 67,535 (!) times, the holder of that record was Booba with Futur in December 2012 with “only” 15,504 downloads. With the new album, Daft Punk get a first chart-topper and a fifth top three album, Discovery (in March 2001) and Alive 2007 (in November 2007) both reached number two, and Homework (in January 1997) and Human After All (in March 2005) peaked at three.

Subliminal is new at number two for Maître Gims with 66,430 sales. As a member of Sexion D’Assaut, he reached the top of the albums chart with L’Apogée which opened with 65,949 copies sold in March 2012, the album stayed in the top 10 for 36 weeks. On Subliminal, you can find the hits “J’Me Tire” (number one on the singles chart for four weeks in March and April) and “Bella” which was at four last week.

It’s a rather good second week in the top 10 for Zaz as her album Recto Verso only slips one place at three (37,779 sales / -15%), it has sold around 84,500 copies so far. Last week’s number one, Vanessa Paradis is down to four with Love Songs (27,927 sales / -43%), the album has sold 76,780 copies in two weeks.

Une Histoire De France debuts at five for Les Stentors with 26,539 sales. They took advantage of the fact it was Mothers Day in France on 26th May. Their Voyage En France spent three weeks at number one in May and June 2012, the album had opened with 31,773 copies sold.

In its fifth week in the top 10, the album Thérèse / Vivre D’Amour slips two places at six (10,400 sales / +38%). With Mothers Day, Frank Michael is back up three at number seven with Quelques Mots D’Amour in his fifth week inside the ten best-sellers (9,600 sales). It’s down three places at eight for Emmanuel Moire‘s Le Chemin in its fourth week in the top 10 (9,200 sales / +28%).

The Conversation is new at nine for Texas (8,944 sales), their last album Red Book also opened (and peaked) at number nine in November 2005. In his 17th week in the top 10, Bruno Mars falls four places at ten with Unorthodox Jukebox (8,692 sales / +30%).

Four albums drop out of the top 10 this week. After four weeks inside the top 10, Maxime Le Forestier slips two at number eleven with Le Cadeau. Arts Martiens moves down five places at 12 for IAM, the album was at the top of the albums chart four weeks ago. It’s down eleven at number 19 for Hugh Laurie with Didn’t It Rain, the album has only spent three weeks in the top 10 so far, his Let Them Talk was in the ten best-sellers for eight weeks from April to June 2011. In his second week on the chart, Kery James is down a massive 20 places at number 23 with Dernier MC (4,300 sales / -67%).

As the album was only available digitally, it’s a very good week for Fauve, their Blizzard debuts at number 13 with 6,200 sales. Now that you can find a DVD of her concert at Paris-Bercy in a new version of her album Caméléon, Shy’m is back up 87 places at number 14 in her 48th week on the chart (5,664 sales).

Love Lust Faith + Dreams opens at number 16 for Thirty Seconds To Mars (5,600 sales), their last album This Is War only peaked at 96 in December 2009, and A Beautiful Lie reached number 87 in February 2007. The compilation NRJ By Cauet debuts at number 17.

Week Ending 19th May 2013 / Singles Chart

“Get Lucky” spends a fifth consecutive week at the top of the French singles chart for Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams (23,485 sales / -6%), the song has sold 147,319 downloads so far. There is a new entry at number two for Sébastien Patrick with the classy “Quand Il Pète, Il Troue Son Slip” (16,760 sales). In fact, Sébastien Patrick is Cartman who imitates Patrick Sébastien on the French TV show “Touche Pas A Mon Poste”. Patrick Sébastien was himself number one for one week in December 2008 with “Ah… Si Tu Pouvais Fermer Ta Gueule…”.

After three consecutive weeks at number two, “Blurred Lines” is down to three for Robin Thicke featuring T.I. and Pharrell in its seventh week in the top 10 (12,900 sales / +2%). It’s a non-mover at number four for Maître Gims with “Bella” in his second week on the chart (9,900 sales / +16%). “Can’t Hold Us” slips two places at five for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton in its 10th week inside the ten best-sellers.

The other Maître Gims‘ song in the top 10, “J’Me Tire” is down one at number six (7,700 sales / -7%). In its fifth week on the chart, “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)” climbs six places at seven for Major Lazer featuring Busy Signal, The Flexican & FS Green (6,000 sales / +76%). It’s down two at number eight for Alex Hepburn with “Under” in her sixth week in the top 10, the song peaked at two.

As the situation is back to normal, we can notice strange re-entries on the chart this week (blame the SNEP for the last few weeks). “Just Give Me A Reason” spends an eighth week inside the top 10 at number nine for P!nk featuring Nate Ruess (5,500 sales), and The Lumineers are back at ten with “Ho Hey” in their 10th week in the ten best-sellers (5,000 sales).

Four songs drop out of the top 10 this week. “Play Hard” is down four at number eleven for David Guetta featuring Ne-Yo & Akon. It’s a bad week for Bruno Mars, “When I Was Your Man” falls five places at 14 (4,143 sales / +0.4%), and his “Locked Ouf Of Heaven” moves down seven at number 15 (3,937 sales / -14%), the latter spent 24 weeks inside the top 10 and reached number three in February. After 18 weeks in the ten best-sellers, “Thrift Shop” is down eight places at 18 for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Wanz, the song was at the top of the French singles chart for eight consecutive weeks from January to March.

In her 10th week on the chart, Zaz is up five places at twelve with “On Ira” (4,400 sales / +63%). “Let Her Go” re-enters at number 16 for Passenger in its ninth week inside the top 200. It’s also a re-entry at 20 for Vanessa Paradis with “Love Song” which is her seventh top 20 hit (3,100 sales), “Joe Le Taxi” spent eleven consecutive weeks at number one from August to October 1987.

“Home” is new at number 24 and is the first hit for Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. In its third week on the chart, “College Boy” climbs 15 places at 28 for Indochine (2,000 sales), it’s their 16th top 30 hit, “J’Ai Demandé A La Lune” was at the top for one week in July 2002.

In her third week on the chart, Lana Del Rey moves up six at number 31 with “Young And Beautiful”. It’s not a good week for PSY, his “Gentleman” is down 17 places at 38 in its sixth week inside the top 200 (1,700 sales).

“Papaoutai” debuts at number 47 for Stromae (1,370 sales), the song is only his second hit after “Alors On Danse” which was at the top for ten weeks from March to May 2010. Teri Moïse sadly passed away on 7th May but we only heard the news last Thursday, so her two biggest hits are back on the chart, “Je Serai Là” (number eight in January 1997) is back at number 66 (900 sales), and “Les Poèmes De Michelle” (number eleven in August and September 1996) re-enters at 74 (800 sales).

The winner of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, Emmelie De Forest is new at number 79 with “Only Teardrops” (800 sales). Next week we will see if she can do better than last year’s winner, Loreen‘s “Euphoria” which peaked at 26. The French song, Amandine Bourgeois‘ “L’Enfer Et Moi” has never entered the top 200.

In its second week on the chart, “#Beautiful” is down a massive 155 places (!) at number 196 for Mariah Carey featuring Miguel (301 sales / -70%).

Vanessa Paradis or Zaz ? Zaz or Vanessa Paradis ? And the winner is… Vanessa Paradis ! Her Love Songs debuts at the top with 48,853 sales, it’s her third number one album in the 2000s, after Bliss (for one week in October 2000), and Divinidylle (for two weeks in September 2007). Divinidylle had opened with 65,027 CDs sold. As the album was available physically, Recto Verso climbs 33 places at number two for Zaz in its second week on the chart (44,469 sales). We can think it’s a bit disappointing for her as her eponymous debut album spent nine consecutive weeks at number one from June to August 2010, this week it climbs 27 places at 41 in its 154th week on the chart. If Recto Verso sold more CDs than Love Songs (around 41,200 vs 39,200), the latter is at the top on the downloads whereas Zaz is only at three (around 9,700 for Vanessa Paradis vs 3,300 for Zaz).

French rapper Kery James is new at three with Dernier MC (13,194 sales), his Réel was at the top of the albums chart for one week in May 2009. In its fourth week in the top 10, the album Thérèse / Vivre D’Amour slips one place at four (7,563 sales / -15%). It’s down three at number five for Emmanuel Moire with Le Chemin (7,182 sales / -23%), the album has sold 34,448 copies in three weeks.

Unorthodox Jukebox slips one place at six for Bruno Mars in its 16th week inside the ten best-sellers (6,707 sales / +2%). IAM‘s Arts Martiens is also down one at number seven in its fourth week in the top 10 (5,900 sales / -4%). Hugh Laurie falls four places at eight with Didn’t it Rain in his third week in the top 10.

In his fourth week inside the top 10, Maxime Le Forestier is back up one at nine with Le Cadeau. Frank Michael moves down three at number ten with Quelques Mots D’Amour in his fourth week in the top 10.

Three albums drop out of the top 10 this week. After three weeks inside the ten best-sellers, Alex Hepburn is down three places at twelve with Together Alone, the album reached number three. In its fourth week on the chart, the compilation NRJ Spring Hits 2013 falls five places at number 13. Last week’s number one, Seth Gueko‘s Bad Cowboy is down to number 25 (!) in its second week on the chart (3,200 sales / -70%), it’s not that surprising as the album debuted with rather low sales figures for a chart-topper (10,659 sales) and rap albums have often a difficult second week. It’s the biggest fall ever for a number one album, beating the 1-15 by L.I.M.‘s “Délinquant” in November 2007, and Booba‘s “Lunatic” in December 2010. They are both rap albums.

It’s up a massive 133 places at number eleven for Chico & The Gypsies with Fiesta in their second week in the top 250 (4,800 sales), can it be their second top 10 album after Chico & The Gypsies … & Friends which peaked at seven in August 2012 ? Stay tuned. The soundtrack from The Great Gatsby is also a big climber as it moves up 55 at number 14 in its second week on the chart (3,900 sales / +225%).

There is a new entry at number 18 for Vampire Weekend with Modern Vampires Of The City, it’s a bit lower than Contra which reached number 15 in January 2010. In her seventh week inside the top 250, Carla Bruni is back up nine places at 20 with Little French Songs, the album spent two weeks at number two.

Les Appareuses Trompences debuts at number 31 for Boulevard Des Airs, it’s their second top 40 album as Paris-Buenos Aires peaked at 24 in October 2011. Kassav’ is new at 32 with Sonjé, its last studio album All U Need Is Zouk only reached number 58 in December 2007, but we can notice that the compilation Le Meilleur De Kassav’ was number 20 in July 2012.

ABBA legend Agnetha Faltskog enters at number 85 with A (1,015 sales), it’s her first charting solo album in France.

For the last few weeks, there have been a lot of mistakes from the SNEP and GfK Music for the singles chart. There is no exception this week as you can’t find songs that were in last week’s top 10 (P!nk featuring Nate Ruess‘ “Just Give Me A Reason”, and “Ho Hey” by The Lumineers) ! Will we have a reliable French singles chart one day ? Sigh…

Unsurprisingly, “Get Lucky” is at the top of the French singles chart for a fourth consecutive week for Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams (24,932 sales / -6%). In 24 days, “Get Lucky” has sold 123,834 downloads.

“Blurred Lines” spends a third consecutive week at two for Robin Thicke featuring T.I. and Pharrell in its sixth week inside the ten best-sellers (12,700 sales / +0.1%). It’s a static top three as “Can’t Hold Us” stays at number three for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton in its ninth week in the top 10 (8,700 sales / -4%).

“Bella” is this week’s highest new entry at four for Maître Gims (8,500 sales), he has two songs in the top five as “J’Me Tire” slips one place at five in its ninth week inside the ten best-sellers (8,300 sales / -4%). “J’Me Tire” entered at number three and was number one for four consecutive weeks in March and April.

It’s down one place at six for Alex Hepburn with “Under” in her fifth week in the top 10 (6,100 sales / -9%). “Play Hard” is still at number seven for David Guetta featuring Ne-Yo & Akon in its sixth week inside the ten best-sellers (5,200 sales / -2%).

There is no move at eight for Bruno Mars with “Locked Out Of Heaven” in his 24th week in the top 10 (4,554 sales / -5%), his “When I Was Your Man” is back up five at number nine to spend a fifth week inside the top 10 (4,128 sales / +19%). In its 18th week in the ten best-sellers, “Thrift Shop” is a non-mover at number ten for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Wanz (3,700 sales / -15%).

“#thatPOWER” is up two places at eleven for will.i.am featuring Justin Bieber in its seventh week on the chart. “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)” climbs a massive 15 places at number 13 for Major Lazer featuring Busy Signal, The Flexican & FS Green in its fourth week inside the top 200 (3,400 sales).

In its ninth week on the chart, “On Ira” is up 22 at number 17 for Zaz (2,700 sales), the song is her first top 20 hit, “Je Veux” peaked at 34 in March 2011. James Arthur climbs six places at 18 with “Impossible” in his 15th week in the top 200 (2,600 sales).

“Ma Meilleure” moves up eleven at number 23 for La Fouine featuring Zaho in its 14th week on the chart (1,752 sales / +6%), the song is La Fouine‘s seventh top 30 hit, and Zaho‘s fifth. In its fifth week inside the top 200, “This Is Nightlife” climbs five places at 24 for ItaloBrothers.

“Photomaton” is new at number 32 for Jabberwocky. In its third week on the chart, it’s up a massive 47 places at 34 for Icona Pop featuring Charli XCX with “I Love It”. “#Beautiful” debuts at number 41 for Mariah Carey featuring Miguel (1,000 sales), it’s Mariah Carey‘s 28th top 50 hit and the first for Miguel.

Week Ending 12th May 2013 / Albums Chart

French rapper Seth Gueko‘s new album Bad Cowboy enters at the top of the albums chart (10,659 sales), it’s even Nicolas Salvadori’s (his real name) first top 10 album as his last LP Michto peaked at number eleven in April 2011. Last week’s number one, Le Chemin is down to two for Emmanuel Moire (9,301 sales / -48%), the album has sold 27,266 copies in two weeks.

It’s also down one place at three for Thérèse / Vivre D’Amour in its third week in the top 10 (8,941 sales / -16%). Hugh Laurie slips one at number four with Didn’t It Rain in his second week on the chart (6,816 sales / -31%), the album has sold 16,701 copies so far.

In his 15th week inside the ten best-sellers, Bruno Mars is up one place at five with Unorthodox Jukebox (6,593 sales / -4%). IAM‘s Arts Martiens falls two at number six (6,129 sales / -26%), 39,036 copies of the album have been sold in three weeks.

There is no change at seven for Frank Michael with Quelques Mots D’Amour in his third week in the top 10 (6,025 sales / -9%). The compilation NRJ Spring Hits 2013 stays at number eight in its third week inside the ten best-sellers (5,700 sales).

Alex Hepburn spends a third week in the top 10 as her Together Alone is back up four places at nine (5,000 sales / -3%). In its third week on the chart, Maxime Le Forestier‘s Le Cadeau is down five at ten (4,672 sales / -33%).

Two albums drop out of the top 10 this week. After eight weeks in the top 10, Les Enfoirés fall four places at 14 with La Boîte A Musique Des Enfoirés, the album was at the top of the albums chart for five consecutive weeks in March and April. Héros is down seven at number 16 for the Musique De La Légion Etrangère in its third week on the chart.

In its 62nd week in the top 250, L’Apogée climbs seven places at eleven for Sexion D’Assaut (4,500 sales / +6%). Justice is new at twelve with Access All Arenas (4,400 sales), the album Audio, Video, Disco reached number five in October 2011. The compilation Le Son Dancefloor 2013 Vol. 2 debuts at number 13. In his third week on the chart, will.i.am falls six places at 17 with #willpower.

Valerie June gets her first charting album in France as her Pushin’ Against A Stone enters at number 23. It’s down eleven places at 27 for Lara Fabian‘s Le Secret in its fourth week on the chart (2,901 sales / -36%).

As the album was only released digitally (it’s number two in the downloads, the physical release was on Monday 13th), Recto Verso debuts at 35 for Zaz (2,300 sales), her eponymous debut album was number one for nine consecutive weeks from June to August 2010.

Iggy & The Stooges enter at number 36 with Ready To Die, Iggy Pop‘s last album Après peaked at five in May 2012.

“Get Lucky” spends a third consecutive week at the top of the French singles chart for Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams (26,603 sales / -20%). The song has sold 98,902 downloads in 17 days.

A former number one (for four weeks in March and April), Maître Gims slips one at number four with “J’Me Tire” in his eighth week in the ten best-sellers (8,614 sales / -6%). It’s also down one place at five for Alex Hepburn with “Under” in her fourth week in the top 10 (6,714 sales / -16%).

In its seventh week inside the top 10, “Just Give Me A Reason” stays at six for P!nk featuring Nate Ruess (6,353 sales / -9%). It’s up three places at seven for David Guetta featuring Ne-Yo & Akon with “Play Hard” in their fifth week in the ten best-sellers (5,326 sales / +24%).

Bruno Mars is a non-mover at eight with “Locked Out Of Heaven” in his 23rd week in the top 10 (4,816 sales / -5%). The Lumineers are down two at number nine with “Ho Hey” in their ninth week inside the ten best-sellers (4,717 sales / -11%). “Thrift Shop” slips one place at ten for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Wanz in its 17th week in the top 10 (4,353 sales).

As his album Le Chemin is at the top of this week’s albums chart, Emmanuel Moire re-enters at eleven with “Beau Malheur” (3,851 sales). In its 23rd week on the chart, “Stay” is back up a place at 12 for Rihanna featuring Mikky Ekko (3,845 sales / +8%). “#thatPOWER” is down one at number 13 for will.i.am featuring Justin Bieber in its sixth week in the top 200 (3,789 sales).

In his 14th week on the chart, Bruno Mars falls three places at 14 with “When I Was Your Man” (3,458 sales / -18%). “Happy” is back up four at 15 for C2C featuring Derek Martin (3,212 sales), the song reached number 13 four weeks ago.

It’s down two at 16 for Taylor Swift with “I Knew You Were Trouble.” in her 20th week inside the top 200 (3,203 sales / +1%). There is no change at 17 for Passenger with “Let Her Go” (3,138 sales / +8%). In their 46th week on the chart, Asaf Avidan & The Mojos stay at number 18 with “One Day / Reckoning Song” (2,637 sales).

“Roadgame” moves up one place at 19 for Kavinsky in its tenth week in the top 200 (2,604 sales). PSY falls four at number 20 with “Gentleman” in his fourth week on the chart (2,556 sales).

The highest new entry of the week is for the candidates of the TV show Les Anges De La Télé-Realité 5 with “Ocean Drive Avenue” at number 23 (2,249 sales), Maude is one of them, her “Love Is What You Make Of It” is down a massive 16 places at 41 (1,428 sales / -33%). “Impossible” climbs three at number 24 for James Arthur in its 14th week on the chart. “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)” is up 17 places at 28 for Major Lazer featuring Busy Signal, The Flexican & FS Green in its third week in the top 200.

It’s a bad second week on the chart for Jenifer, her “Poupée De Cire, Poupée De Son” falls 26 places at 47 (1,215 sales / -47%). “Quand La Musique Est Bonne” is also a big faller as it’s down a massive 30 places at number 70 for Amel Bent & Soprano in its second week inside the top 200 (800 sales / -39%).

In May 2011 he had no contract with a record company anymore. In December 2012 he won the TV show “Danse Avec Les Stars”, and then… Emmanuel Moire gets his first number one album as Le Chemin enters at the top of this week’s French albums chart (17,965 sales). His first two albums reached the top 10, (Là) Où Je Pars was number eight in November 2006, and L’Equilibre opened (with 6,769 CDs sold) and peaked at number seven in April 2009.

In its second week in the top 10, the album Thérèse / Vivre D’Amour is up two places at number two (10,683 sales / +10%). Hugh Laurie is new at three with Didn’t It Rain (9,885 sales), Let Them Talk reached number two in April 2011 and stayed in the ten best-sellers for eight weeks.

Last week’s number one, IAM‘s Arts Martiens is down to four in its second week on the chart (8,235 sales / -67%). Le Cadeau falls three places at five for Maxime Le Forestier in its second week in the top 10 (6,998 sales / -39%).

In his 14th week in the top 10, Bruno Mars is up one at number six with Unorthodox Jukebox (6,846 sales / -10%). Quelques Mots D’Amour climbs three places at seven for Frank Michael in his second week on the chart (6,591 sales / -5%). The compilation NRJ Spring Hits 2013 is up one place at eight in its second week in the top 10.

The big climber of the week is for Héros by the Musique De La Légion Etrangère, the album is up a massive 25 places at number nine in its second week on the chart (5,500 sales). It’s down four at ten for Les Enfoirés with La Boîte A Musique Des Enfoirés in their eighth week inside the ten best-sellers.

Three albums drop out of the top 10 this week. In his second week in the top 250, will.i.am falls six at number eleven with #willpower (5,176 sales / -45%). After two weeks in the top 10, Alex Hepburn is down five places at 13 with Together Alone (5,175 sales / -27%), the album has sold 21,570 copies so far. Bankrupt! falls 16 at number 19 for Phoenix in its second week on the chart (3,650 sales / -63%).

P!nk‘s The Truth About Love is up one place at twelve in its 33rd week in the top 250 (5,176 sales / -6%), the album entered and peaked at number four in September 2012. Now What ?! debuts at 23 for Deep Purple, the last time they had reached the top 50 was in October 2003 when Bananas peaked at 50.

Hanni El Khatib gets his first top 40 album as Head In The Dirt enters at 35, his debut album Will The Guns Come Out peaked at number 111 in October 2011. It’s a bad second week on the chart for Little Mix, their DNA is down 25 places at number 52 (1,598 sales / -48%).
