Week Ending 25th May 2014 / Singles Chart

In its tenth week inside the ten best-sellers, Milky Chance‘s “Stolen Dance” spends a third consecutive week at the top of the French singles chart (5,900 sales / -14%). Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake are also non-movers at number two with “Love Never Felt So Good” in their third week in the top 10 (4,800 sales / -20%). We have a static top three this week, as Mr. Probz is still at three with “Waves” in his fifth week inside the top 10 (4,800 sales / -2%).

Guess who’s back up two places at number four ? It’s… Pharrell Williams with “Happy” in his 27th week inside the top 10 (4,500 sales / -4%). In his third week inside the ten best-selling songs, John Legend slips one at number five with “All Of Me” (4,400 sales / -10%). “Liar Liar” also moves down one place at six for Cris Cab in its tenth week in the top 10 (3,800 sales / -19%).

In its second week inside the top 10, “Magic In The Air” climbs one at number seven for Magic System featuring Chawki (3,700 sales / +23%). Deorro‘s “Five Hours” reaches its peak position as it moves up one place at eight in its second week inside the ten best-sellers.

Black M gets his first top 10 hit as a solo artist, as “Sur Ma Route” jumps from 15 to number nine in its ninth week on the chart (3,000 sales / +36%). He got three top 10 songs as a member of Sexion D’Assaut, “Avant Qu’Elle Parte” spent nine non-consecutive weeks at three from from January to April 2012. In its tenth week in the top 10, “Black Pearl (He’s A Pirate)” falls three places at ten for Rebel featuring Sidney Housen.

One song drops out of the top 10 this week. After seven weeks inside the ten best-sellers, “You & Me” slips two at number twelve for Disclosure featuring Eliza Doolittle. The song peaked at two in April.

In his seventh week on the chart, Ed Sheeran climbs a massive 91 places at eleven with “Sing” (2,800 sales). It’s his first top 20 hit, and only his second top 50, “The A Team” reached number 43 in May 2012. It’s also a very good week for Sia, her “Chandelier” jumps from 34 to number 14 in its fifth week inside the top 200 (2,500 sales / +67%).

L’Entourage get their first three top 30 hits as they own this week’s three highest new entries, at number 19 with “Bal Masqué” (2,100 sales), at 20 with “Mourir Demain” (2,100 sales), and at number 22 with “Fous La Merde” (2,000 sales). “Un Jour Au Mauvais Endroit” is new at 30 for Calogero (1,573 sales). The song is his sixth solo top 30 hit, and the first since 2009 when his duet with Stanislas, “La Débâcle Des Sentiments” was number two in January. With Les Charts, he peaked at 13 in March 1993 with “Aime-Moi Encore”.

In its 30th week on the chart, “Dark Horse” moves back up 16 places at 36 for Katy Perry featuring Juicy J, the song reached number six in March. Jason Derulo‘s “Trumpets” equals its peak position as it climbs 14 at number 39 in its 11th week in the top 200.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup is coming soon, and its official song “We Are One (Ole Ola)” is up 18 places at 43 for Pitbull featuring Jennifer Lopez & Cláudia Leitte in its seventh week on the chart. Coeur De Pirate‘s version of Renaud‘s “Mistral Gagnant” is also a big climber, as it jumps from 69 to number 47 in its fourth week inside the 200 best-sellers. The song is her fourth top 50 hit, and the first since 2011 when “Adieu” peaked at 26 in December. With Julien Doré, Coeur De Pirate was Number One for one week in March 2010 with “Pour Un Infidèle”.

Week Ending 25th May 2014 / Albums Chart

Ghost Stories is Coldplay‘s fourth Number One album in France as it debuts at the top with 51,556 sales (38,831 physical + 12,725 downloads). In its first week, its better than Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends (47,625 CDs sold in June 2008), but less than Mylo Xyloto (56,820 sales in October 2011). Coldplay‘s chart-toppers were X&Y (for two weeks in June 2005), Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends (for nine weeks from June to August 2008), and Mylo Xyloto (for one week in October 2011).

Céline Dion enters at number two with her new live LP Céline… Une Seule Fois / Live 2013 (18,547 sales). It’s her fourth top five album in the 2010s, after Tournée Mondiale Taking Chances – Le Spectacle (number five in May 2010), Sans Attendre (Number One for two weeks in November and December 2012), and Loved Me Back To Life (number three in November 2013).

Michael Jackson slips two places at three with Xscape (17,668 sales / -48%). In its two weeks on the chart, the album has sold 51,882 copies. It’s also down two for another new entry from last week, Patrick Fiori is at number four with Choisir (14,000 sales / -13%). Thanks to Mother’s Day, Les Prêtres move back up one place at five with Amen in their seventh week inside the ten best-sellers (13,900 sales / +85%). After twelve consecutive weeks inside the top three, Indila‘s Mini World falls three at number six (11,900 sales / +34%).

Isabelle Boulay gets her fifth top 10 LP in France, as Merci Serge Reggiani is new at seven with 9,441 sales. She peaked at six in September 2000 with Mieux Qu’Ici-Bas, was number four with Au Moment D’Etre A Vous (in September 2002) and Tout Un Jour (in May 2004), and reached number seven in March 2008 with Nos Lendemains. Stromae slips one place at eight with Racine Carrée in his 40th week in the top 10 (9,400 sales / +32%).

In his second week on the chart, Charles Aznavour is up twelve at number nine with 90e Anniversaire – Best Of (9,100 sales / +250%). Florent Pagny‘s Vieillir Avec Toi moves back up two places at ten to spend a 24th week inside the ten best-sellers (8,400 sales).

Five albums drop out of the top 10 this week. In his sixth week on the chart, Jean-Louis Aubert slips four at number 13 with Aubert Chante Houellebecq – Les Parages Du Vide. Last week’s new entry at number five, Milky Chance is down to 17 with Sadnecessary (4,700 sales / -40%). After four weeks inside the top 10, Les Yeux Plus Gros Que Le Monde falls eight places at 18 for Black M. The compilation NRJ Spring Hits 2014 is a big faller, from eight to number 21 in its fourth week on the chart. Last week’s new entry at four, Turn Blue moves down to number 26 for The Black Keys (3,500 sales / -60%).

Magic System were close to get their second top 10 album in France, as Africainement Votre debuts at number eleven. Toutè Kalé peaked at seven in April 2011. The compilation NRJ Hit List 2014 is new at twelve. It was Mother’s Day last Sunday in France, and Vincent Niclo jumps from 35 to number 14 with Luis in his 35th week on the chart (5,000 sales).

Nikki Yanofsky gets her highest-charting LP with Little Secret which enters at 28. She reached number 29 in January 2011 with Nikki. Rapper LIM debuts at 41 with Violences Urbaines 4, his album Délinquant was Number One for one week in October 2007 (with 12,179 CDs sold in its first week). A L’Abri gives Georgio his first top 50 LP, as it opens at number 49.

Week Ending 18th May 2014 / Singles Chart

There is no change at the top of the French singles chart, as Milky Chance‘s “Stolen Dance” spends a second week at Number One in its ninth week inside the top 10 (6,900 sales / +1%). But there is a serious threat now : “Love Never Felt So Good” by Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake, the song climbs five places at two in its second week inside the ten best-sellers (6,000 sales / +46%). In the last 20 years, “only” three Michael Jackson‘s songs have been that high, “You Are Not Alone” (Number One for two weeks in September and October 1995), “Earth Song” (number two in January 1996), and “You Rock My World” (Number One for three weeks in October 2001). Could “Love Never Felt So Good” be Justin Timberlake‘s first chart-topper in France ? He peaked at two in April and May 2008 on Madonna‘s “4 Minutes”.

The 3-5 positions are static, “Waves” by Mr. Probz at number three in its fourth week in the top 10 (4,900 sales / -11%), John Legend at four with “All Of Me” in his second week inside the ten best-selling songs (4,900 sales / -6%), and Cris Cab‘s “Liar Liar” at number five in its ninth week inside the top 10 (4,700 sales / -4%).

After 24 consecutive weeks inside the top two, Pharrell Williams finally falls four places at six with “Happy” (4,700 sales / -23%). In its ninth week in the top 10, “Black Pearl (He’s A Pirate)” moves down one at number seven for Rebel featuring Sidney Housen (3,500 sales / -26%).

“Magic In The Air” jumps from 13 to number eight for Magic System featuring Chawki in its ninth week on the chart (3,000 sales). The song is Chawki‘s first top 10 hit, and the tenth for Magic System, their last one was “Chérie Coco” (featuring Soprano) which reached number two in April and May 2011. In its eighth week in the top 200, Deorro‘s “Five Hours” is up three places at nine (2,900 sales). “You & Me” slips one at number ten for Disclosure featuring Eliza Doolittle in its seventh week inside the ten best-sellers (2,700 sales).

Two songs drop out of the top 10 this week. After nine weeks inside the top 10, “Rather Be” falls three places at eleven for Clean Bandit featuring Jess Glynne, the song was number two for two weeks in March. “Bad” moves down three at number 13 for David Guetta & Showtek featuring Vassy in its sixth week on the chart.

Coldplay‘s “Magic” is back up 13 places at 14 in its 11th week inside the 200 best-sellers (2,200 sales), it debuted and peaked at number six in March. It’s a very good week for Coldplay, as “A Sky Full Of Stars” moves up ten at number 26 in its third week on the chart (1,700 sales), and “Midnight” climbs 14 places at 35 in its fourth week inside the top 200 (1,500 sales). Black M jumps from 34 to number 15 with “Sur Ma Route” in his eighth week on the chart (2,200 sales).

“Dare (La La La)” gives Shakira her 14th top 20 hit, as it climbs twelve places at 16 in its eighth week in the top 200 (2,000 sales). Calvin Harris gets his fifth top 20 hit with “Summer” which also moves up twelve at number 17 in its tenth week on the chart (2,000 sales).

Fréro Delavega have this week’s highest new entry with “Sweet Darling”, the song debuts at number 18 (2,000 sales). They were contestants on the TV show “The Voice” this year. French rapper Joke has three brand new entries inside the top 40, “Vénus” at number 19 (2,000 sales), “Miley” at 23 (1,800 sales), “Sphinx” at 24 (1,800 sales), and a re-entry with “Majeur En L’Air” at number 22 (1,800 sales).

In its fourth week on the chart, “Chandelier” jumps from 50 to number 34 to give Sia her fourth top 40 hit (1,500 sales). As a featured artist, she reached number three in January 2012 on David Guetta‘s “Titanium”. “La Mort Ou Tchitchi” enters at number 38 for Niro featuring Kaaris.

The 2014 Eurovision Song Contest winner, Conchita Wurst is up five at number 39 with “Rise Like A Phoenix” in her second week on the chart. The Common Linnets fall a massive 41 places at 143 with “Calm After The Storm”, and it’s even worse for Twin Twin, their “Moustache” moves down 69 at number 184…

Xscape gives Michael Jackson his eighth Number One album in France, as it debuts at the top with 34,214 copies sold (29,128 physical + 5,086 downloads). Michael Jackson‘s other chart-toppers are Bad (for six weeks in September and October 1987), Dangerous (for seven weeks from January to October 1992), HIStory : Past, Present and Future – Book I (for two weeks in June 1995), Blood On The Dancefloor – History In The Mix (for one week in May 1997), Invincible (for three weeks in November 2001), Thriller 25 (for three weeks in February and March 2008), and the This Is It soundtrack (for three weeks in November 2009). What about Thriller, you would ask ? The first French albums chart was published in January 1985.

Patrick Fiori gets his highest-charting LP with Choisir which enters at number two with 16,020 sales. The new album is his third top five, Si On Chantait Plus Fort… peaked at four in October 2005, and his last offering L’Instinct Masculin reached number three in October 2010. After three non-consecutive weeks at Number One, Indila‘s Mini World is down to three in its 12th week inside the top 10 (8,911 sales / -20%).

The Black Keys are new at number four with Turn Blue (8,830 sales), it’s their first top 10 album in France. El Camino was number 21 in February 2012. Sadnecessary is a new entry at five for Milky Chance with 7,892 copies sold.

In their sixth week inside the ten best-sellers, Les Prêtres fall four places at six with Amen (7,500 sales / -19%). After 38 consecutive weeks in the top four (!), Stromae is also down four at number seven with Racine Carrée (7,100 sales / -22%). But his debut album Cheese climbs a massive 18 places at 24 in its 115th week on the chart. The compilation NRJ Spring Hits 2014 moves down four places at eight in its third week inside the top 10.

It’s down four places at ten for Black M with Les Yeux Plus Gros Que Le Monde in his fourth week in the top 10 (4,100 sales / -21%).

Five albums drop out of the top 10 this week. After ten consecutive weeks inside the top 10, Pharrell Williams is down six at number eleven with G I R L. The Frozen soundtrack (La Reine Des Neiges) falls seven places at 14 in its 24th week on the chart. Charles Aznavour enters at 21 with 90e Anniversaire – Best Of (2,600 sales), his highest-charting album is Duos which reached number three in January 2009. Anastacia gets her fourth top 40 album in France, as Resurrection is new at 33 (1,911 sales). Not That Kind is her only top 10 LP, peaking at number six in July 2000. Vincent Niclo‘s Luis jumps from 104 to number 35 in its 34th week in the top 250, the LP debuted and peaked at number three in October.

Week Ending 11th May 2014 / Singles Chart

It’s a bit sad, but only 6,820 downloads have been enough for Milky Chance‘s “Stolen Dance” to end the amazing 22-week reign of Pharrell Williams‘s “Happy”. In its eighth week inside the top 10, “Stolen Dance” is up one place (6,820 sales / +2%), and “Happy” moves down to number two in its 25th week on the chart (all inside the ten best-sellers, 6,100 sales / -16%).

In his third week in the top 10, Mr. Probz climbs one place at three with “Waves” (5,500 sales / +15%). As it was sung by a contestant during the final of the TV show “The Voice” last Saturday, “All Of Me” jumps from twelve to number four for John Legend in its 13th week on the chart, the song is his first top 10 hit (5,200 sales / +79%).

Cris Cab enters the top five, as “Liar Liar” moves up two places at five in its eighth week inside the top 10 (4,900 sales / +15%). It’s down three at number six for Rebel featuring Sidney Housen with “Black Pearl (He’s A Pirate)” in their eighth week inside the ten best-sellers (4,700 sales / -6%).

In its second week on the chart; “Love Never Felt So Good” is up twelve places at seven for Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake (4,100 sales / +71%). The song is Justin Timberlake‘s 10th top 10 hit, and the 19th for Michael Jackson, his first since “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ 2008” with Akon (number ten in April 2008). “Rather Be” falls three places at eight for Clean Bandit featuring Jess Glynne in its ninth week in the top 10 (3,855 sales / -14%).

“You & Me” slips one at number nine for Disclosure featuring Eliza Doolittle in its sixth week inside the ten best-sellers. After a three-week absence, “Bad” is back inside the top 10 as it moves up four places at ten for David Guetta & Showtek featuring Vassy.

Three songs drop out of the top 10 this week. London Grammar‘s “Wasting My Young Years” falls six at number 15, the song spent eleven weeks inside the top 10 and peaked at two in February. After 19 consecutive weeks inside the ten best-sellers, Indila is down six places at 16 with “Dernière Danse”. Last week’s new entry at six, “A Sky Full Of Stars” is down to number 36 for Coldplay.

Black M is not far from having his first solo top 10 hit, as “Mme Pavoshko” is up four places at eleven in its 11th week on the chart. Deorro‘s “Five Hours” jumps from 20 to number twelve in its seventh week inside the top 200. In its eighth week on the chart, “Magic In The Air” moves up three places at 13 for Magic System featuring Chawki. Imagine Dragons re-enter the top 20, as “Demons” is back up six at number 19 in its 18th week inside the 200 best-sellers, the song peaked at 15 in April. Their “Radioactive” climbs twelve places at 30 in its 63rd week on the chart.

Trey Songz gets his first top 30 hit with “Na Na”, the song jumps from 50 to number 21 in its eighth week on the chart (2,100 sales). It’s a very good week also for DJ Snake & Lil Jon, their “Turn Down For What” moves up 14 places at 22 in its eighth week in the top 200.

“Heart Of Glass” is this week’s highest new entry at number 31 for Gisele & Bob Sinclar (1,700 sales). If the song is Gisele‘s first top 40 hit in France, it’s the 11th for Bob Sinclar, “World, Hold On (Children Of The Sky)” (featuring Steve Edwards) reached number two in April 2006. In her third week on the chart, Sia is up a massive 119 places at 50 with “Chandelier”.

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest winner, the Austrian Conchita Wurst debuts at number 44 with “Rise Like A Phoenix” (1,354 sales). The 2013 winner, “Only Teardrops” by Emmelie De Forest entered and peaked at number 79 in May with around 800 sales. I won’t comment the result of the French song (it’s better like that, and the song was not very good, to be honest), but Twin Twin‘s “Moustache” is new at 115 with 408 downloads sold.

Week Ending 11th May 2014 / Albums Chart

There is no move at the top of the French albums chart where Indila spends a third non-consecutive week with Mini World (11,198 sales / -7%). The album has sold over 10,000 copies in each of its eleven weeks on the chart. There is no change at number two for Les Prêtres with Amen in their fifth week inside the top 10 (9,300 sales / -11%).

Stromae stays at three with Racine Carrée in his 38th week inside the ten best-sellers, it’s interesting to notice that it’s the first week that the LP has sold less than 10,000 copies (9,100 sales / -12%). It’s a static top four, as the compilation NRJ Spring Hits 2014 is a non-mover at number four in its second week on the chart (7,300 sales).

In his tenth week in the top 10, Pharrell Williams moves back up five places at five with G I R L (5,300 sales / +5%). After a three-week absence, Black M is back inside the top 10 as Les Yeux Plus Gros Que Le Monde jumps from twelve to number six (5,200 sales). In its ninth week inside the ten best-sellers, the Frozen soundtrack (La Reine Des Neiges) is still at number seven (4,900 sales / -14%).

Patrick Sébastien falls three places at eight with Ça Va Etre Ta Fête ! in his third week in the top 10 (4,900 sales / -26%). Subliminal spends a 38th week inside the top 10, as the LP is up six at number nine for Maître Gims. London Grammar‘s If You Wait climbs one place at ten in its seventh week inside the ten best-sellers.

Three albums drop out of the top 10 this week. In his 27th week on the chart, Florent Pagny slips two at number eleven with Vieillir Avec Toi. Last week’s new entry at six, Damon Albarn is down to number 18 with Everyday Robots (3,500 sales / -45%). Un Oiseau S’Est Posé falls 17 places at 25 for Gérard Manset in its second week in the top 250.

In his 11th week on the chart, Jul is back up ten at number 13 with Dans Ma Paranoïa, the LP debuted and peaked at seven in March. Zaz climbs a massive 17 places at 14 with Recto Verso in her 53rd week inside the top 250. The compilation Fun Remix Club 2014, Vol. 2 gets this week’s highest new entry at number 19.

Bruno Mars jumps from 38 to number 21 with Unorthodox Jukebox in his 74th week on the chart. The album We Love Disney moves up 13 places at 30 in its 23rd week inside the 250 best-sellers, the LP reached number two in December.

Lily Allen enters at 32 with her new LP SHEEZUS with 2,324 copies sold. Alright, Still reached number 47 in October 2006, and It’s Not Me, It’s You peaked at eleven in February 2009. Rio-Paris is new at number 36 for Natalie Dessay, Agnès Jaoui, Helena Noguerra and Liat Cohen.

Ben & Ellen Harper debut at 38 with Childhood Home. Ben Harper got two Number One albums, with There Will Be A Light (with The Blind Boys Of Alabama, for two weeks in September and October 2004) and Lifeline (with The Innocent Criminals, for one week in September 2007).

Epica gets its fifth top 50 LP, as The Quantum Enigma opens at number 47. Design Your Universe reached number 31 in October 2009. Amandine Bourgeois enters at 52 with Au Masculin (1,500 sales), she peaked at number five in June 2009 with 20 M². For France, she finished 23rd at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest with “L’Enfer Et Moi”. Where I Belong is a new entry at number 54 for Cris Cab.

After three consecutive weeks at Number One, Les Prêtres are down to two with Amen (10,427 sales / -19%), the album has sold 73,842 copies in its four weeks on the chart.

There is no change at number three for Stromae‘s Racine Carrée which spends its 37th week inside the ten best-sellers (10,290 sales / -3%), it has sold a total of 1,606,396 copies so far. The compilation NRJ Spring Hits 2014 is this week’s highest new entry at four. In his second week on the chart, Patrick Sébastien slips one place at five with Ça Va Être Ta Fête ! (6,583 sales / -14%).

Damon Albarn gets his first solo top 10 album, as Everyday Robots debuts at number six with 6,345 sales. It’s surprising to know that Blur has never managed to get a top 10 LP in France, Think Tank peaked at eleven in May 2003. As a member of Gorillaz, he had three top 10 albums, including a Number One, Demon Days (for one week in May 2005). The Frozen soundtrack (La Reine Des Neiges) stays at seven in its eighth week in the top 10 (5,697 sales / +8%).

Un Oiseau S’Est Posé is new at number eight for Gérard Manset, the new LP is his first top 10 album (5,177 sales). Le Langage Oublié peaked at 14 in February 2004. After just two weeks in the top 10, Jean-Louis Aubert falls eight at number 13 with Aubert Chante Houellebecq – Les Parages Du Vide (4,767 sales / -31%). Daft Punk‘s Random Access Memories is down four places at 14 in its 50th week on the chart.

Pixies enter at number 16 with Indie Cindy, it’s their first top 20 album since October 1997 when Death To The Pixies 1987-1991 reached number 14 in October 1997. Une Vie Par Jour is a disappointing new entry at 18 for Olympe (3,963 sales). His eponymous debut LP debuted and peaked at two in July 2013 with 11,402 copies sold. Olympe finished second at last year’s French edition of “The Voice”.

In her second week on the chart, Lisa Angell moves up five places at 28 with Frou-Frou. It’s her second top 30 LP, after Des Mots… (number 30 in April 2013). Bruno Mars jumps from 56 to number 38 with Unorthodox Jukebox in his 73rd week inside the 250 best-sellers, the album peaked at four in August 2013.

9 Dead Alive is new at 42 for Rodrigo Y Gabriela, their 11:11 reached number 20 in September 2009. Sophie-Tith enters at a low number 46 with J’Aime Ça (1,545 sales), her debut LP Premières Rencontres debuted and peaked at seven in July 2013 with around 6,700 copies sold. Sophie-Tith was the winner of the TV show “Nouvelle Star” in 2013.

Even if Milky Chance‘s “Stolen Dance” has the lead in the downloads (6,673 vs. 6,153), Pharrell Williams‘ “Happy” is still Number One in the French singles chart for the 22nd non-consecutive week, thanks to its physical sales (7,253 sales / -5%). So Milky Chance have to stay at two for the fourth week in their seventh week inside the top 10 (6,673 sales / +6%). There is no change also at number three for “Black Pearl (He’s A Pirate)” by Rebel featuring Sidney Housen in its seventh week inside the ten best-sellers (5,000 sales / +4%).

Mr. Probz gets closer to the top, as “Waves” climbs four places at four in its second week in the top 10 (4,800 sales / +30%). It’s down one at number five for Clean Bandit featuring Jess Glynne with “Rather Be” in their eighth week inside the top 10 (4,500 sales / -4%).

For the second week in a row, Coldplay get the highest new entry, this time with “A Sky Full Of Stars” at number six (4,500 sales). The song is their fifth top 10 hit, and already the third taken from their forthcoming album Ghost Stories. In its seventh week inside the ten best-sellers, Cris Cab‘s “Liar Liar” gets its peak position as it moves up two places at seven (4,250 sales / +21%).

“You & Me” slips one at number eight for Disclosure featuring Eliza Doolittle in its fifth week in the top 10. London Grammar fall three at number nine with “Wasting My Young Years” in their 11th week inside the ten best-selling songs (3,250 sales / -17%). Indila is a non-mover at ten with “Dernière Danse” in her 19th week inside the top 10 (3,100 sales / -11%).

One song drops out of the top 10 this week. Last week’s highest new entry at five, Coldplay‘s “Midnight” is down to number 37.

John Legend climbs five places at twelve with “All Of Me” in his 12th week on the chart (2,900 sales / +16%). Will he get his first top 10 hit next week ? Place your bets. As it was sung by a contestant at the TV show “The Voice” last Saturday, “Another Love” is back up a massive 21 places at 13 for Tom Odell in its 41st week inside the top 200 (2,800 sales). The song peaked at eleven in February.

“Love Never Felt So Good” is new at number 19 for Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake (2,400 sales), it’s the 23rd top 20 hit for the former, and the 13th for the latter. Michael Jackson got three Number Ones, with “Black Or White” (for two weeks in January and February 1992), “You Are Not Alone” (for two weeks in September and October 1995), and “You Rock My World” (for three weeks in October 2001). Justin Timberlake reached number two in April and May 2008 with “4 Minutes” (with Madonna).

In its sixth week on the chart, Deorro‘s “Five Hours” jumps from 26 to number 20. Aloe Blacc moves up seven places at 24 with “The Man” in his 13th week inside the 200 best-selling songs (2,200 sales). It’s a good week also for Sam Smith, his “Money On My Mind” is back up five at number 31 in his ninth week on the chart. In its eighth week in the top 200, “Summer” climbs three places at 32 for Calvin Harris.

“Turn Down For What” is up six at number 36 for DJ Snake & Lil Jon in its seventh week on the chart. Pharrell Williams jumps from 60 to number 38 with “Marilyn Monroe” in his ninth week inside the top 200.

“Toujours Là” debuts at 44 for L’Entourage, their song “Jim Morrison” was number 58 in April. “Problem” is new at number 53 for Ariana Grande featuring Iggy Azalea, the song is the first chart entry for both artists.
