Week Ending 24th November 2013 / Singles Chart

After “Papaoutai” (for four weeks in July and August) and “Formidable” (for six weeks in September and October), Stromae gets his third Number One hit in 2013 as “Tous Les Mêmes” climbs four places to reach the top spot in its second week inside the top 10. When was the last time an artist got three chart-toppers in the same year ? Mylène Farmer achieved that feat in 2009 with the one-week reign of “Si J’Avais Au Moins…” (in February), “C’Est Dans L’Air” (in May), and “Sextonik” (in September). Very bad news : “Tous Les Mêmes” only sold 5,200 downloads last week (+8%), that’s the worst total sales figures for a Number One song since the downloads were added to the French singles chart in January 2011.

After three consecutive weeks at the top, “The Monster” is down to number two for Eminem featuring Rihanna in its fourth week inside the ten best-sellers (4,700 sales / -30%). There is no change at three for Vitaa featuring Maître Gims with “Game Over” which spends its eighth week in the top 10 (4,200 sales / -24%).

Avicii‘s “Hey Brother” moves up four places at four in its third week inside the top 10 (4,100 sales / -5%), the song is his second top five hit, “Wake Me Up !” was at the top of the singles chart for two weeks in August and September. In its second week inside the ten best-sellers, “Photomaton” falls three at number five for Jabberwocky featuring Elodie Wildstars (3,800 sales / -38%).

Stromae moves back up one place at six with “Formidable” in his 19th week in the top 10. It’s down three at number seven for DVBBS & Borgeous with “Tsunami” in their sixth week inside the ten best-sellers. Lorde‘s “Royals” is back up two places at eight in its third week inside the top 10. In its sixth week inside the top 10, “Talk Dirty” slips three at number nine for Jason Derülo featuring 2 Chainz (3,500 sales / -26%).

Pharrell Williams‘ “Happy” is this week’s highest new entry at number ten. The song is his third top 10 hit this year, after “Get Lucky” (as a featured artist with Daft Punk, Number One for eight weeks from April to July), and “Blurred Lines” (as a featured artist with Robin Thicke and T.I., Number One for six weeks in June and July). Will he also get a third chart-topper in 2013 ? Place your bets.

One song drops out of the top 10 this week. After just one week inside the ten best-sellers (so far), Ellie Goulding moves down four places at 13 with “Burn”.

This week One Direction get their fourth, fifth and sixth top 20 hits, as “Diana” (2,900 sales), “Midnight Memories” (2,700 sales), and “Strong” (2,700 sales) debut at 12, 14, and 15. But they are still waiting for their first top 10 song as “Diana” equalled “Best Song Ever” which also reached number twelve in August.

In its third week on the chart, “Berlin” climbs four places at 23 for RY X (2,000 sales). As the song is used in a TV advert, Junior Senior‘s “Move Your Feet” gets its highest ranking, it re-enters at number 27 (1,700 sales). “Move Your Feet” peaked at 29 in May 2003.

“23” moves up a massive 30 places at 31 for Mike Will Made-It featuring Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa & Juicy J in its ninth week inside the top 200. In its third week on the chart, the new version of “Turn Me On (Tropical Family)” by Kevin Lyttle & Matt Houston climbs 15 places at 34. The original version sung by Kevin Lyttle reached number ten in March 2004. Selena Gomez is up eleven at number 35 with “Slow Down” in her 20th week inside the 200 best-sellers.

Week Ending 24th November 2013 / Albums Chart

With even increasing sales figures in its 14th week inside the top 10 (35,045 sales / +17%), Stromae‘s Racine Carrée is still at the top of the French albums chart for the 12th non-consecutive week. The LP has sold 597,005 copies so far.

Détroit‘s debut album Horizons is this week’s highest new entry at number two with 31,526 copies sold. Détroit is composed of Pascal Humbert and Noir Désir‘s singer Bertrand Cantat. Noir Désir had three Number One albums, 666.667 Club (for one week in November 1996), Des Visages Des Figures (for five weeks in September and October 2001), and En Public (for two weeks in September and October 2005).

Etienne Daho gets his fourth top five album in the 2000s as Les Chansons De L’Innocence Retrouvée opens at three with 25,805 sales. Corps Et Armes was Number One for one week in April 2000, Réévolution peaked at five in November 2003, and L’Invitation reached number two in November 2007. Florent Pagny moves down two places at four with Vieillir Avec Toi (21,630 sales / -19%), the album has sold 90,588 copies in its three weeks inside the ten best-sellers.

Garou‘s Au Milieu De Ma Vie enters at number five with 19,779 sales. The new album is his seventh top five LP, two of them reached the top, Seul (for five weeks from January to March 2001), and Garou (for two weeks in June 2006). In her third week in the top 10, Céline Dion slips one place at six with Loved Me Back To Life. The album increases its sales (19,078 copies sold / +11%) as she appeared in a big French TV show on France 2 on 16th November. The LP has sold 66,845 copies so far. The album Forever Gentlemen also moves down one at number seven in its fifth week inside the top 10 (14,700 sales / +29%).

Casseurs Flowters are new at eight with Orelsan & Gringe Sont Les Casseurs Flowters (11,500 sales). Orelsan got two top 20 albums, Perdu D’Avance reached number 20 in February 2009, and Le Chant Des Sirènes peaked at three in October 2011. In his third week inside the ten best-sellers, Eminem falls five places at nine with The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (11,000 sales / -41%).

IAM get their second top 10 album in 2013 as their eponymous LP opens at number ten (9,700 sales). Arts Martiens spent one week at the top in May. Revoir Un Printemps also reigned for one week in September 2003.

Five albums drop out of the top 10 this week. In her 29th week on the chart, Zaz slips three places at eleven with Recto Verso. After two weeks inside the top 10, Héros moves down six at number 13 for Eddy Mitchell. The compilation NRJ Hit List 2013 Vol. 2 falls eight places at 18 in its second week in the top 250. Frank Michael is down ten at number 19 with Encore Quelques Mots D’Amour, the album spent two weeks inside the ten best-sellers. The biggest faller is Lady Gaga‘s ARTPOP, it falls a massive 25 places at 28 (5,051 sales / -78%). The album has sold 27,903 copies in its two weeks on the chart.

Shaka Ponk‘s live album Geeks On Stage debuts at number twelve (8,100 sales), it’s their highest-charting LP, they peaked at 14 in July 2012 with The Geeks And The Jerkin’ Socks. In its 13th week on the chart, Génération Goldman Vol. 2 climbs three places at 14, it was at the top for one week in September. Another former Number One (for three weeks in June and July), Christophe Maé‘s Je Veux Du Bonheur is up nine at number 15 in its 24th week inside the top 250.

Vitaa enters at 16 with Ici Et Maintenant (7,400 sales), the new album is her third top 20 LP, A Fleur De Toi was Number One for one week in February 2007, and Celle Que Je Vois peaked at ten in January 2010. In his ninth week on the chart, Vincent Niclo is back up ten places at 23 with Luis.

M‘s new live album Îl(s) is new at number 27 (5,100 sales), the studio LP Îl peaked at four in November 2012. Swings Both Ways only enters at number 38 for Robbie Williams (3,400 sales), his last album Take The Crown reached number nine in November 2012.

Corneille‘s Entre Nord Et Sud debuts at 46, it’s a disappointing first week as his last LP Les Inséparables was his fourth top 10 album, peaking at number ten in October 2011. 20 – The Greatest Hits is new at 47 for Laura Pausini, her highest-charting album (and only top 10 so far) is Resta In Ascolto which reached number seven in October 2004.

Week Ending 17th November 2013 / Singles Chart

“The Monster” spends a third consecutive week at the top of the French singles chart for Eminem featuring Rihanna (6,700 sales / -17%), but this week’s big news is the jump from 18 to 2 of “Photomaton” by Jabberwocky featuring Elodie Wildstars in its 28th week on the chart (6,100 sales / +69%). “Photomaton” is used in a TV ad for Peugeot 208.

It’s down one place at number three for Vitaa featuring Maître Gims with “Game Over” in their seventh week inside the top 10 (5,500 sales / -18%). There is no move at four for DVBBS & Borgeous‘ “Tsunami” in its fifth week inside the ten best-sellers (4,900 sales).

After two Number One hits (“Papaoutai” and “Formidable”), Stromae gets a third top five song in 2013 as “Tous Les Mêmes” climbs 17 places at five in its 13th week in the top 200 (4,800 sales). He performed the song in the TV show “Le Grand Journal” on Canal + last week.

In its fifth week inside the top 10, “Talk Dirty” moves down three at number six for Jason Derülo featuring 2 Chainz (4,700 sales / -18%). Stromae slips one place at seven with “Formidable” in his 18th week inside the ten best-sellers (4,600 sales). Avicii‘s “Hey Brother” is up two at number eight in its second week in the top 10 (4,300 sales / +5%).

Ellie Goulding moves up five places at nine with “Burn” in her 12th week inside the top 200 (4,000 sales). The song is her second top 10 hit, she peaked at number ten in August as a featured artist on Calvin Harris‘ “I Need Your Love”. In her second week in the top 10, Lorde falls three places at ten with “Royals” (3,900 sales / -9%).

Three songs drop out of the top 10 this week. After three weeks inside the ten best-sellers, Miley Cyrus slips two at number eleven with “Wrecking Ball”. In his second week on the chart, Booba falls a massive 62 places at 67 with “Parlons Peu” (900 sales / -80%). Last week’s new entry at number eight, Lady Gaga‘s “Dope” is out of the top 200 this week !

Some former Number Ones are back up the singles chart, as “Wake Me Up !” climbs three at number twelve for Avicii in its 22nd week on the chart, and Stromae‘s “Papaoutai” moves up five places at 15 in its 27th week inside the 200 best-sellers (3,100 sales).

As her new LP ARTPOP debuts at number three in the albums chart, Lady Gaga is back up 21 places at 19 with “Applause” (2,600 sales), the song reached number three in August. In its 24th week on the chart, “Summertime Sadness” climbs five at number 20 for Lana Del Rey & Cedric Gervais.

In his second week on the chart, RY X is up a massive 56 places at 27 with “Berlin”. “Sirens Call” climbs six at number 29 for Cats On Trees in its 18th week in the top 200. Céline Dion‘s “Loved Me Back To Life” gets its highest ranking, as it moves up 18 places at 32 in its seventh week inside the 200 best-sellers (1,700 sales / +31%).

Casseurs Flowters get their first top 40 hit, “20h08 – Dans La Place Pour Etre” is new at number 34 (1,600 sales). In her eighth week in the top 200, Zaz moves back up 13 places at 38 with “Si”, the song reached number 34 four weeks ago.

Selena Gomez climbs 17 places at 46 with “Slow Down”, it’s her third top 50 hit in France, after “Love You Like A Love Song” (with The Scene, number 17 in September 2012), and “Come & Get It” (number 34 in August). “All Bad” enters at 55 for Justin Bieber.

Week Ending 17th November 2013 / Albums Chart

As he appeared in the French TV show “Le Grand Journal” on Canal + last week, Stromae‘s Racine Carrée is back up three places to spend an 11th week at the top of the albums chart (30,080 sales / +12%). The LP has sold 561,960 copies so far. Last week’s Number One, Vieillir Avec Toi is down to two for Florent Pagny (26,710 sales / -37%), the album has sold 68,958 copies in its two weeks on the chart.

It’s a disappointing new entry at number three for Lady Gaga with ARTPOP which only sold 22,852 copies last week. Born This Way opened at the top with 55,059 copies sold in May 2011, the album spent two weeks at Number One. It’s her third top three LP as The Fame peaked at two in January and February 2010.

In his second week on the chart, Eminem slips two places at four with The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (18,688 sales / -53%), the album has sold 58,083 copies so far. It’s also down two at number five for Céline Dion‘s Loved Me Back To Life (17,170 sales / -44%), 47,767 copies have been sold in its two weeks inside the top 10.

The album Forever Gentlemen stays at number six in its fourth week inside the ten best-sellers (11,400 sales / -20%). In his second week in the top 10, Eddy Mitchell moves down two places at seven with Héros (10,300 sales / -38%). Recto Verso spends a 12th week inside the top 10 as it’s back up eight at number eight for Zaz (9,200 sales).

Frank Michael slips one place at nine with Encore Quelques Mots D’Amour in his second week on the chart (8,100 sales / -14%). The compilation NRJ Hit List 2013 Vol. 2 opens at number ten with 7,600 copies sold.

Three albums drop out of the top 10 this week. After two weeks inside the ten best-sellers, Løve is down seven places at 14 for Julien Doré (6,200 sales / -37%). Grand Corps Malade‘s Funambule falls eleven at number 20 in its third week on the chart. Hayce Lemsi moves down a massive 44 places at 54 with Electron Libre in his third week inside the top 250.

De Palmas was close to get his sixth top 10 album this week as his eponymous LP debuts at eleven (7,400 sales). He was Number One for one week in October 2004 with Un Homme Sans Racines. The musical Le Soldat Rose 2 is new at number 13 (6,600 sales), the first one spent eleven weeks inside the ten best-sellers and peaked at three in November and December 2006.

In his 49th week on the chart, Bruno Mars is back up 13 at number 15 with Unorthodox Jukebox. The album Génération Goldman Vol. 2 climbs 15 places at 17 in its 12th week inside the top 250. Subliminal moves up five at number 19 for Maître Gims in its 26th week on the chart.

The Rolling Stones enter at number 18 with Sweet Summer Sun / Hyde Park Live. On Air – Live At The BBC Volume 2 is new at 26 for The Beatles, it’s their fourth top 30 album in the 2000s, Love spent one week at the top in November 2006.

Salute enters at number 38 for Little Mix, they peaked at 27 in May with their debut album DNA (3,000 sales). Another X Factor winner in the UK (in 2012), James Arthur falls 18 places at 39 with his eponymous LP in his second week on the chart.

In their second week on the chart, there is no change at the top for Eminem featuring Rihanna with “The Monster” (8,100 sales / -13%). “Game Over” also doesn’t move at number two for Vitaa featuring Maître Gims in its sixth week inside the top 10 (6,700 sales / +8%).

“Talk Dirty” gets closer to the top of the singles chart as it climbs two places at three for Jason Derülo featuring 2 Chainz in its fourth week inside the ten best-sellers (5,700 sales / +10%). DVBBS & Borgeous slip one at number four with “Tsunami” in their fourth week in the top 10.

Booba gets this week’s highest new entry at five with “Parlons Peu” (4,600 sales), the song is his third top 10 hit, after “Caramel” (number ten in September 2012), and “A.C. Milan” (number seven in February). In its 17th week inside the top 10, Stromae‘s “Formidable” moves down two places at six. It’s a first top 10 hit in France for Lorde as “Royals” is up five at number seven in its ninth week on the chart (4,300 sales / +8%).

After “Applause” (number three in August), “Do What U Want” (featuring R. Kelly, number eight two weeks ago), and “Venus” (number nine last week), Lady Gaga gets a fourth top 10 song from her new album ARTPOP with “Dope” which debuts at eight.

After a three-week absence, Miley Cyrus‘ “Wrecking Ball” is back in the top 10, the song moves up nine places at nine (4,200 sales). “Hey Brother” is Avicii‘s second top 10 hit as the song climbs 13 at number ten in its seventh week on the chart (4,100 sales), his “Wake Me Up !” spent two weeks at Number One in August and September.

Five songs drop out of the top 10 this week. A former Number One (for one week three weeks ago), Bakermat‘s “Vandaag” is down five places at eleven. After twelve weeks inside the ten best-sellers, Martin Garrix also falls five at number twelve with “Animals”. “Roar” slips three places at 13 for Katy Perry in its 13th week in the top 200. It’s down seven at number 15 for Avicii‘s “Wake Me Up !” after 18 weeks spent inside the top 10 (3,600 sales / -27%). In its second week on the chart, “Venus” falls a massive 70 places at 79 for Lady Gaga.

As the song is used in an advert for the Peugeot 208, “Photomaton” climbs 123 places at 18 for Jabberwocky featuring Elodie Wildstars in its 27th week inside the 200 best-sellers (3,600 sales). It’s a good week for Britney Spears, her “Work Bitch” is back up four at number 21 in its eighth week on the chart, and “Perfume” is new at 34 (1,800 sales).

In his 15th week on the chart, Florent Pagny moves up 84 places at 23 with “Les Murs Porteurs” (2,500 sales), the song is his 22nd top 30 hit. Florent Pagny enters at Number One on this week’s albums chart with Vieillir Avec Toi. As his eponymous debut album is new at number 21, James Arthur is back up 17 places at 29 with “Impossible” which peaked at number six in June.

“Team BS” is new at number 28 for Fababy, La Fouine, Sultan & Sindy. In its second week in the top 200, Indochine‘s “Black City Parade” climbs a massive 95 places at 31. “Sirens Call” moves back up 13 at number 35 for Cats On Trees in its 17th week on the chart.

It’s a bad week for One Direction, their “Story Of My Life” falls 25 places at 47 in its second week inside the 200 best-sellers. Céline Dion climbs 73 places at number 50 with “Loved Me Back To Life” in her sixth week on the chart (1,300 sales). “Bad Day” is new at 54 for Justin Bieber.

Week Ending 10th November 2013 / Albums Chart

Florent Pagny gets his seventh Number One album as Vieillir Avec Toi is new at the top with 42,248 copies sold. His six chart-toppers were Savoir Aimer (for two weeks in November 1997), RéCréation (for one week in October 1999), Châtelet Les Halles (for one week in November 2000), Ailleurs Land (for seven weeks in April and May 2003), Baryton (for three weeks in November and December 2004), and Tout Et Son Contraire (for one week in November 2010).

So The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is not Eminem‘s third Number One, the album debuts at two with 39,395 sales. Encore (for one week in November 2004), and Relapse (for one week in May 2009) reached the top. Good news for Eminem : his last studio album Recovery also entered (and peaked) at number two in June 2010, but with only 13,600 CDs sold.

Loved Me Back To Life is new at number three for Céline Dion (30,597 sales). We can notice that her last “French” album Sans Attendre was much more successful in its first week, reaching the top with 95,569 copies sold. But we can add that her last “American” LP Taking Chances sold 29,380 CDs when it debuted and peaked at number two in November 2007, so it’s not a bad week for the Canadian singer.

After ten non-consecutive weeks at the top, Stromae‘s Racine Carrée is down to four with 26,895 sales (-6%), the album has sold 531,880 copies in its 12 weeks inside the top 10. Eddy Mitchell enters at number five with Héros (16,569 sales). His last studio album Come Back entered at the top in October 2010 with 17,100 CDs sold.

In its third week inside the ten best-sellers, the album Forever Gentlemen falls four places at six (14,175 sales / -27%), the LP has sold 55,528 copies so far. Løve slips three at number seven for Julien Doré in its second week on the chart (9,800 sales / -27%).

Encore Quelques Mots D’Amour is Frank Michael‘s second top 10 album in 2013 as it debuts at eight (9,400 sales), Quelques Mots D’Amour reached number six in June. In his second week in the top 10, Grand Corps Malade moves down four places at nine with Funambule. French rapper Hayce Lemsi gets his first top 10 album as his Electron Libre climbs a massive 213 places at ten in its second week on the chart (7,100 sales).

Six albums drop out of the top 10 this week. Last week’s new entry at eight, the compilation NRJ Dance 2013 is down to number eleven. After two weeks inside the top 10, James Blunt falls five places at twelve with Moon Landing. The musical Robin Des Bois moves down eight at number 14 in its 33rd week on the chart. It’s down twelve places at 15 for Arcade Fire‘s Reflektor after just one week inside the ten best-sellers. Katy Perry falls eight at number 17 with Prism in her third week in the top 20. In its third week on the chart, the compilation Le Son Dancefloor 2014 moves down ten places at 20.

Sexion D’Assaut‘s Best Of enters at 13 with 6,100 copies sold, it’s their fourth top 20 album, after L’Ecole Des Points Vitaux (number two in May and July 2010), En Attendant L’Apogée – Les Chroniques Du 75 (number three in April 2011), and L’Apogée (Number One for five weeks from March to June 2012).

James Arthur‘s eponymous debut album is new at number 21 (5,000 sales). It’s a disappointing new entry for another eponymous LP, Avril Lavigne only enters at 30 (4,000 sales). Only her debut album Let Go didn’t reach the top 10, peaking at 13 in October 2002. The Best Damn Thing was number three in April 2007, and both Under My Skin (in May 2004) and Goodbye Lullaby (in March 2011) reached number four.

Eminem had already peaked at three with three songs : “Without Me” in July and August 2002, “Lose Yourself” in March 2003, and “Love The Way You Lie” (featuring Rihanna) in October 2010. “The Monster” is Rihanna‘s fifth Number One, after “Don’t Stop The Music” (for two weeks in October and November 2007), “Man Down” (for five weeks in July and August 2011), “We Found Love” (featuring Calvin Harris, for five weeks in October and November 2011), and “Diamonds” (for three weeks in September and October 2012).

After just one week at the top, “Game Over” is down to two for Vitaa featuring Maître Gims in its fifth week inside the ten best-sellers (6,182 sales / -2%). In their third week in the top 10, DVBBS & Borgeous climb four places at three with “Tsunami” (5,900 sales / +18%). It’s down one at number four for Stromae‘s “Formidable” in its 16th week inside the top 10 (5,500 sales / -8%).

“Talk Dirty” moves up four places at five for Jason Derülo featuring 2 Chainz in its third week in the top 10, the song is the first top five hit for both artists (5,200 sales / +24%). In his eighth week inside the ten best-sellers, Bakermat slips two at number six with “Vandaag”. “Animals” moves down one place at seven for Martin Garrix in its 12th week inside the top 10 (4,900 sales).

Avicii falls six at number eight with “Wake Me Up !” in his 18th week in the top 10 (4,900 sales / -22%). “Venus” opens at nine for Lady Gaga with 4,577 sales, the song is her 13th top 10 hit. Katy Perry is down five places at ten with “Roar” in her seventh week inside the ten best-sellers (4,500 sales / -20%).

Two songs drop out of the top 10 this week. “La La La” falls five at number 15 for Naughty Boy featuring Sam Smith, the song peaked at six in September and spent six weeks in the top 10. Last week’s new entry at number eight, “Do What U Want” is down to 38 for Lady Gaga featuring R. Kelly (1,500 sales / -70%).

In his 16th week on the chart, Julien Doré is up 20 at number eleven with “Paris-Seychelles” (4,200 sales), he got two top 10 hits, with his own version of Alizée‘s “Moi… Lolita” (number two in September 2007), and “Pour Un Infidèle” (with Coeur De Pirate) which was at the top for one week in March 2010. Lorde climbs ten places at twelve with “Royals” in her eighth week inside the top 200 (4,000 sales).

As Lou Reed sadly passed away on 27th October, “Walk On The Wild Side” moves up 42 places at 13 in its seventh week inside the 200 best-sellers (3,800 sales / +280%). His “Perfect Day” (with Mick Ronson) climbs a massive 108 places at number 31 in its third week on the chart (2,100 sales).

It’s a very good week for Eminem as he has four songs inside the top 40, “Berzerk” is up seven at number 17, “Survival” climbs 32 places at 19, and “Rap God” moves up 25 at number 24.

“Story Of My Life” debuts at number 22 for One Direction with 3,071 sales, the song is their fourth top 30 hit. “Best Song Ever” peaked and opened at twelve in August with 3,733 sales. In its 36th week on the chart, Imagine Dragons‘ “Radioactive” finally reaches the top 40 as it’s up 20 places at 32.

Grand Corps Malade gets his first top 50 hit, “Te Manquer” (with Sandra Nkaké) debuts at number 47. It’s getting worse for Justin Bieber as “Recovery” hasn’t even reached the top 50, the song only debuts at 56.

Week Ending 3rd November 2013 / Albums Chart

It’s a tenth non-consecutive week at the top of the French albums chart for Stromae‘s Racine Carrée in its 11th week inside the top 10 (28,523 sales / -5%). The LP has sold 504,985 copies so far. In its second week on the chart, the album Forever Gentlemen is also a non-mover at number two (19,337 sales / -12%).

Arcade Fire get the highest new entry of the week at three with Reflektor (16,356 sales). It’s their third top 10 album, after Neon Bible (number nine in March 2007), and The Suburbs (number three in August 2010). Løve debuts at four for Julien Doré with 13,422 copies sold. This new LP is also his third top 10 album, Ersatz was number two in June 2008, and Bichon debuted and peaked at four in March 2011 with 11,946 sales.

Grand Corps Malade gets his fourth top 10 album as Funambule is new at five (10,491 sales). His Midi 20 reached number three in April and May 2006, Enfant De La Ville peaked at two in April 2008, and 3ème Temps was number three in October 2010. The musical Robin Des Bois spends an eighth week inside the top 10 as it’s back up ten places at six (9,088 sales).

In his second week on the chart, James Blunt slips two at number seven with Moon Landing (8,923 sales / -36%). The compilation NRJ Dance 2013 opens at eight (6,500 sales). Katy Perry moves down five places at nine with Prism in her second week in the top 10 (6,416 sales / -58%). The compilation Le Son Dancefloor 2014 falls four at number ten in its second week inside the ten best-sellers.

Five albums drop out of the top 10 this week. In her second week on the chart, Natalie Dessay is down four places at eleven with Entre Elle Et Lui (5,600 sales / -28%). The compilation NRJ Hit Music Only 2013 Vol. 2 slips three at number 13 after two weeks inside the top 10. Kaaris‘ Or Noir falls eleven places at 14 in its second week inside the top 250 (5,018 sales / -73%). Last week’s new entry at eight, Amor Latino is down to number 16 for Frédéric François. Hélène Segara also moves down eight places at 17 with Et Si Tu N’Existais Pas in her fourth week inside the 250 best-sellers.

The compilation W9 Hits 2014 debuts at number twelve. In her 26th week on the chart, Zaz is back up four places at 15 with Recto Verso. Recharged is new at number 19 for Linkin Park, their album Minutes To Midnight was Number One for one week in May 2007.

In her fifth week inside the top 250, Lorde climbs a massive 139 places at 27 as Pure Heroine has been released physically (3,737 sales). French techno artist and DJ Gesaffelstein is new at number 30 with Aleph. In its 31st week on the chart, Imagine Dragons‘ Night Visions gets its highest-charting position as it climbs 88 places at 51.

Vanessa Paradis moves up 16 at number 52 with Love Songs in her 25th week inside the 250 best-sellers, the LP was at the top for one week in May. Gréco Chante Brel debuts at number 57 for Juliette Gréco. Lou Reed sadly passed away on 27th October, and his album Transformer (released in 1972) is new at 62. He got one top 30 LP with Lulu (with Metallica) which peaked at number 23 in November 2011.
