In only its fifth week on the chart, “Game Over” reaches the top of the French singles chart as it climbs two places for Vitaa featuring Maître Gims (6,300 sales / =). The song is Vitaa‘s first chart-topper, and the second for Maître Gims after the four-week reign of “J’Me Tire” in March and April.
Avicii stays at two with “Wake Me Up !” in his 17th week inside the top 10 (6,300 sales / -3%). In its 15th week inside the ten best-sellers, Stromae‘s “Formidable” is back up one place at three (6,000 sales / -3%). Bakermat only spent one week at the top as “Vandaag” is down to four in its seventh week in the top 10 (5,800 sales / -13%).
It’s a very good week for Katy Perry, her “Roar” climbs seven places at five in its sixth week inside the top 10 (5,600 sales). “Roar” is her fourth top five hit, after “I Kissed A Girl” (number five in October 2008), “If We Ever Meet Again” (as a featured artist with Timbaland, number five in May 2010), and “California Gurls” (featuring Snoop Dogg, number five in July and August 2010).
In his 11th week inside the ten best-sellers, Martin Garrix slips one place at six with “Animals”. It’s also down a place at seven for DVBBS & Borgeous with “Tsunami” in their second week in the top 10 (5,000 sales / +9%).
“Do What U Want” is this week’s highest new entry at number eight for Lady Gaga featuring R. Kelly (4,968 sales). The song is Lady Gaga‘s 12th top 10 hit, she had two Number Ones, with “Poker Face” (for four weeks in March and April 2009), and “Bad Romance” (for one week in January 2010). It’s the second top 10 hit for R. Kelly, “If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time” peaked at two in March and April 2000.
“Talk Dirty” moves up one place at nine for Jason Derülo featuring 2 Chainz in its second week inside the top 10 (4,200 sales / =), it’s the highest-charting song for the former. In its sixth week inside the ten best-sellers, “La La La” is down one at number ten for Naughty Boy featuring Sam Smith (3,900 sales).
Two songs drop out of the top 10 this week. A former Number One (for four weeks in July and August), Stromae‘s “Papaoutai” moves down three places at eleven, the song spent 19 weeks inside the top 10. John Newman falls six at number 13 with “Love Me Again” in his 16th week on the chart.
Ellie Goulding climbs four places at twelve with “Burn” in her ninth week inside the 200 best-sellers (3,400 sales / +21%). In her sixth week on the chart, Britney Spears is back up three at number 17 with “Work Bitch”, it peaked at six in September. Aloe Blacc moves up a massive 44 places at 20 with “Wake Me Up !” in his fifth week in the top 200 (2,500 sales).
In its fifth week on the chart, Avicii‘s “Hey Brother” is up 17 places at 21 (2,400 sales / +71%). Lorde climbs three at number 22 with “Royals” in her seventh week inside the top 200. James Blunt gets his fifth top 30 hit as “Bonfire Heart” moves up 46 places at 26 in its fifth week inside the 200 best-sellers (1,900 sales). As a featured artist (with Sinik), he reached number three in March 2008 with “Je Réalise”.
In its 20th week in the top 200, “Come Back To Me” climbs ten at number 27 for HollySiz. Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros are up six places at 30 with “Home” in their 24th week on the chart, it peaked at seven in May. “Paris-Seychelles” moves up 22 at number 31 for Julien Doré in its 15th week inside the top 200, it’s his fifth top 40 hit and the first since 2011 when “Kiss Me Forever” reached number 33 in March.
“Sirens Call” is up 22 places at 33 for Cats On Trees in its 15th week on the chart. Justin Bieber enters at number 46 with “Hold Tight”, “Heartbreaker” was at 26 two weeks ago, and “All That Matters” debuted at number 40 last week.
