Les Enfoirés stay at the top of the French albums chart for a third consecutive week with Bon Anniversaire Les Enfoirés, but with low sales figures in their standards (38,892 sales / -61%). The album has sold a total of 240,628 copies in its three weeks on the chart. In the same amount of time, La Boîte A Musique Des Enfoirés had sold 334,668 copies in 2013, Le Bal Des Enfoirés 2012 296,731 in 2012, and Dans L’Oeil Des Enfoirés 326,487 in 2011, to give a few examples.
Kyo‘s L’Equilibre is this week’s highest new entry at number two with 23,553 sales. The new LP is their third top two album, Le Chemin was at two for eleven non-consecutive weeks (very unlucky !) from July 2003 to March 2004. and 300 Lésions spent five consecutive weeks at the top in January and February 2005.
Indila doesn’t move at number three with Mini World in her fifth week inside the top 10 (16,800 sales / -10%). In its 32nd week inside the four best-sellers, Stromae‘s Racine Carrée stays at four (14,200 sales / -18%). There is no change at number five for Pharrell Williams with G I R L in his fourth week in the top 10 (10,500 sales / -29%).
Shakira debuts at six with Shakira. (10,382 sales), it’s her seventh top 10 album, Sale El Sol was Number One for two weeks in October and November 2010. The White Pixel Ape (Smoking Isolate To Keep In Shape) falls five at number seven for Shaka Ponk in its second week on the chart (9,200 sales / -62%).
In his 34th week inside the ten best-sellers, Maître Gims slips one place at eight with Subliminal (8,600 sales / -12%). It’s down three at number nine for Daft Punk‘s Random Access Memories in its 23rd week in the top 10 (8,600 sales / -13%). Florent Pagny falls two places at ten with Vieillir Avec Toi in his 21st week inside the top 10 (8,200 sales).
Two albums drop out of the top 10 this week. London Grammar slip two places at eleven with If You Wait after four weeks inside the ten best-sellers (6,400 sales). Last week’s new entry at ten, Kylie Minogue‘s Kiss Me Once is down to number 53 (1,600 sales / -75%)… In its second week on the chart, Aphrodite fell twelve places at 15 in July 2010.
Lift Your Spirit is new at number twelve for Aloe Blacc (4,552 sales), the new LP is his second top 20 album, Good Things reached number 19 in October 2010. The compilation Playlist Hits 2014 Vol. 2 debuts at 16. Vous M’Emmerdez ! enters at number 17 for Les Ogres De Barback, it’s their third top 20 album, after Du Simple Au Néant (number 17 in April 2007), and Comment Je Suis Devenu Voyageur (number 16 in March 2011).
In his 27th week on the chart, Vincent Niclo is back up 13 places at 19 with Luis. The Frozen soundtrack (La Reine Des Neiges) climbs 18 at number 20 in its 17th week in the top 250, the LP reached number five in February. Cats On Trees‘ self-titled album jumps from 26 to number 21 in its 23rd week on the chart.
It’s a good week for Julien Doré, his Løve moves back up a massive 21 places at 22 in its 22nd week inside the 250 best-sellers (2,900 sales). In its 52nd week on the chart, Imagine Dragons finally enter the top 30, as Night Visions climbs ten at number 30.
The late Johnny Cash gets his first (!) top 40 LP in France, Out Among The Stars is new at 32. Luis Mariano – Revivez La Légende enters at number 33 for Mathieu Sempéré. The new edition of Elton John‘s Goodbye Yellow Brick Road debuts at 51, The One is his only Number One LP (for six weeks in July and August 1992).
