It’s a bit sad, but only 6,820 downloads have been enough for Milky Chance‘s “Stolen Dance” to end the amazing 22-week reign of Pharrell Williams‘s “Happy”. In its eighth week inside the top 10, “Stolen Dance” is up one place (6,820 sales / +2%), and “Happy” moves down to number two in its 25th week on the chart (all inside the ten best-sellers, 6,100 sales / -16%).
In his third week in the top 10, Mr. Probz climbs one place at three with “Waves” (5,500 sales / +15%). As it was sung by a contestant during the final of the TV show “The Voice” last Saturday, “All Of Me” jumps from twelve to number four for John Legend in its 13th week on the chart, the song is his first top 10 hit (5,200 sales / +79%).
Cris Cab enters the top five, as “Liar Liar” moves up two places at five in its eighth week inside the top 10 (4,900 sales / +15%). It’s down three at number six for Rebel featuring Sidney Housen with “Black Pearl (He’s A Pirate)” in their eighth week inside the ten best-sellers (4,700 sales / -6%).
In its second week on the chart; “Love Never Felt So Good” is up twelve places at seven for Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake (4,100 sales / +71%). The song is Justin Timberlake‘s 10th top 10 hit, and the 19th for Michael Jackson, his first since “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ 2008” with Akon (number ten in April 2008). “Rather Be” falls three places at eight for Clean Bandit featuring Jess Glynne in its ninth week in the top 10 (3,855 sales / -14%).
“You & Me” slips one at number nine for Disclosure featuring Eliza Doolittle in its sixth week inside the ten best-sellers. After a three-week absence, “Bad” is back inside the top 10 as it moves up four places at ten for David Guetta & Showtek featuring Vassy.
Three songs drop out of the top 10 this week. London Grammar‘s “Wasting My Young Years” falls six at number 15, the song spent eleven weeks inside the top 10 and peaked at two in February. After 19 consecutive weeks inside the ten best-sellers, Indila is down six places at 16 with “Dernière Danse”. Last week’s new entry at six, “A Sky Full Of Stars” is down to number 36 for Coldplay.
Black M is not far from having his first solo top 10 hit, as “Mme Pavoshko” is up four places at eleven in its 11th week on the chart. Deorro‘s “Five Hours” jumps from 20 to number twelve in its seventh week inside the top 200. In its eighth week on the chart, “Magic In The Air” moves up three places at 13 for Magic System featuring Chawki. Imagine Dragons re-enter the top 20, as “Demons” is back up six at number 19 in its 18th week inside the 200 best-sellers, the song peaked at 15 in April. Their “Radioactive” climbs twelve places at 30 in its 63rd week on the chart.
Trey Songz gets his first top 30 hit with “Na Na”, the song jumps from 50 to number 21 in its eighth week on the chart (2,100 sales). It’s a very good week also for DJ Snake & Lil Jon, their “Turn Down For What” moves up 14 places at 22 in its eighth week in the top 200.
“Heart Of Glass” is this week’s highest new entry at number 31 for Gisele & Bob Sinclar (1,700 sales). If the song is Gisele‘s first top 40 hit in France, it’s the 11th for Bob Sinclar, “World, Hold On (Children Of The Sky)” (featuring Steve Edwards) reached number two in April 2006. In her third week on the chart, Sia is up a massive 119 places at 50 with “Chandelier”.
This year’s Eurovision Song Contest winner, the Austrian Conchita Wurst debuts at number 44 with “Rise Like A Phoenix” (1,354 sales). The 2013 winner, “Only Teardrops” by Emmelie De Forest entered and peaked at number 79 in May with around 800 sales. I won’t comment the result of the French song (it’s better like that, and the song was not very good, to be honest), but Twin Twin‘s “Moustache” is new at 115 with 408 downloads sold.
