Pharrell Williams‘ “Happy” stays at Number One and spends an 11th non-consecutive week at that position in its 13th week inside the top 10 (16,600 sales / +14%). There is no change also for Indila at two with “Dernière Danse” in her eighth week inside the ten best-sellers (7,600 sales / -6%).
As they performed the song in the French music awards (Victoires de la Musique) last Friday, Cats On Trees move up five places at number three with “Sirens Call” in their third week in the top 10 (5,500 sales). Maître Gims slips one place at four with “Zombie” in his 11th week inside the ten best-selling songs (5,300 sales / -13%). “Instant Crush” is also down one at number five for Daft Punk featuring Julian Casablancas in its third week inside the top 10 (5,100 sales / +11%).
“Shot Me Down” gets this week’s highest new entry at six for David Guetta featuring Skylar Grey (5,000 sales). “Shot Me Down” is Skylar Grey‘s second top 10 hit, she featured on DiddyDirtyMoney‘s “Coming Home” which peaked at number eight in April 2011. For David Guetta, “Shot Me Down” is his 18th top 10 hit, he reached the top spot twice, with “Gettin’ Over You” (with Chris Willis and featuring Fergie & LMFAO, for one week in June 2010), and “Sweat” (with Snoop Dogg, for two weeks in May 2011).
In its fourth week inside the top 10, OneRepublic‘s “Counting Stars” is back up two places at seven (3,700 sales / +12%). Lorde climbs two at number eight with “Royals” in her 12th week inside the ten best-sellers (3,700 sales / +16%), the song was at four two weeks ago. In its third week in the top 10, “Can’t Remember To Forget You” falls four places at nine for Shakira featuring Rihanna (3,600 sales / -16%). “Get Lucky” also moves down four at number ten for Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams in its 26th week inside the top 10 (3,100 sales / -24%).
One song drops out of the top 10 this week. Last week’s new entry at number seven, Booba is down to 32 with “La Mort Leur Va Si Bien”.
It’s a good week for Stromae after the French music awards (he won three trophies) as he owns four songs inside the top 30. “Formidable” moves back up eight places at eleven, “Tous Les Mêmes” is a non-mover at number 13, “Papaoutai” climbs eight places at 15, and “Ta Fête” jumps from 39 to number 30 in its 21st week on the chart, it’s Stromae‘s fifth top 30 hit.
In its ninth week in the top 200, “Drunk In Love” climbs three places at 14 for Beyoncé featuring Jay Z. Indila gets her third top 20 hit, as “Tourner Dans Le Vide” is new at number 17 (2,500 sales). With Skalpovitch, she featured on Youssoupha‘s “Dreamin'” which peaked at 14 in July 2012.
“Changes” is up seven at number 21 for Faul & Wad Ad vs. PNAU in its 13th week on the chart. Julien Doré was also at the Victoires de la Musique, and his “Paris-Seychelles” climbs seven places at 22 in its 31st week inside the 200 best-sellers, the song reached number eleven in November. Avicii also moves up seven at number 23 with “Addicted To You” in his eighth week in the top 200.
French rapper Kaaris enters at 26 with “S.E.V.R.A.N” (1,700 sales), the song is his first top 30 hit, “Sombre” debuted and peaked at number 41 two weeks ago. In its 16th week on the chart, “Dark Horse” is back up five places at 27 for Katy Perry featuring Juicy J.
Another “Victoires” effect : “Come Back To Me” climbs a massive 97 places at 31 for HollySiz in its 36th week inside the top 200, the song was number 22 in October. “Liar Liar” is up 30 places at 40 for Cris Cab in its fourth week inside the 200 best-selling songs.
“You’re Mine” is new at number 47 for Lea Michele (1,100 sales), her “Louder” peaked at 46 in January. It’s a bad second week on the chart for U2‘s “Invisible”, the song falls 40 places at number 51.
