As he won two trophies at this year’s NRJ Music Awards on Saturday 13th, Kendji Girac climbs two places to spend a sixth week at the top of the French albums chart with his eponymous LP in his 15th week inside the top 10. By doing so, he also secures his highest sale (86,833 sales / +50%). The album debuted at Number One in September with 68,166 copies sold, and is still at three in the year-to-date (470,116 sales) behind Stromae‘s Racine Carrée (693,859) and Indila‘s Mini World (531,268). Kendji Girac won this year’s French edition of the TV show “The Voice”.
After two consecutive weeks at the top, AC/DC‘s Rock Or Bust is down to number two (74,729 sales / +26%). The album has sold 225,855 copies in its three weeks on the chart. Alain Souchon & Laurent Voulzy slip one place at three with their self-titled LP (72,930 sales / +24%). It has sold 245,890 copies so far.
Johnny Hallyday is a non-mover at number four with Rester Vivant (71,028 sales / +28%), the album has sold 366,398 copies in its five weeks inside the ten best-sellers. There is no change also at five for Les Enfoirés with their best-of Les Enfoirés En Choeur De 1985 A Aujourd’hui in their second week on the chart (66,709 sales / +37%). The LP has sold 115,532 copies so far. The compilation NRJ Music Awards 2014 is back up one place at six (60,200 sales / +57%).
In his 18th week in the top 10, Calogero climbs one at number seven with Les Feux D’Artifice (53,845 sales / +48%). Black M moves up one place at eight with Les Yeux Plus Gros Que Le Monde in his 18th week inside the top 10 (49,852 sales / +46%).
Paris re-enters the top 10 as it jumps from twelve to number nine for Zaz in its fifth week inside the ten best-sellers (46,219 sales / +52%). It’s down four places at ten for Patrick Bruel with his Live 2014 (33,928 sales / -16%).
One album drops out of the top 10 this week. Last week’s new entry at ten, Jul falls to number 24 with Je Trouve Pas Le Sommeil (16,800 sales / -50%).
In its fourth week on the chart, David Guetta‘s Listen moves back up three places at eleven (33,901 sales / +31%). Chaleur Humaine climbs eleven at number 15 for Christine And The Queens in its 29th week in the top 250 (22,600 sales). The album debuted and peaked at six in June. The soundtrack to La Reine Des Neiges (Frozen) is up five places at 18 in its 55th week on the chart (21,200 sales).
Julien Doré‘s Løve jumps from 28 to number 20 in its 60th week inside the 250 best-sellers (17,900 sales). It’s a good week also for Bernard Lavilliers, his Acoustique moves up six places at 21 in its fourth week on the chart. In his 70th week in the top 250, Stromae climbs six at number 30 with Racine Carrée (13,038 sales).
Dans Ma Ruche is new at 51 for Guizmo. La Banquise reached number 17 in April 2012. Nicki Minaj opens at 70 with The Pinkprint (4,205 sales). Her Pink Friday peaked at 116 in November 2010, and Pink Friday – Roman Reloaded was number 20 in April 2012.
