With the help of its first full week of availability, Sur La Route Des Enfoirés spends a second consecutive week at the top of the French albums chart for Les Enfoirés (87,937 sales / -7%). The LP has sold 182,380 copies in nine days (it was released on Saturday 14th), which is less than the 201,736 Bon Anniversaire Les Enfoirés and the 268,480 La Boîte A Musique Des Enfoirés sold respectively in 2014 and 2013 in the same amount of time.
In her third week inside the top 10, Louane stays at number two with Chambre 12 (22,437 sales / -27%). The album has sold 113,548 copies so far. There is no change at three for Kendji Girac‘s eponymous album in its 28th week inside the ten best-sellers (14,000 sales / -22%). We have a static top four as Christine And The Queens is a non-mover at number four with Chaleur Humaine in her 13th week in the top 10 (12,300 sales / -19%).
Dominique A gets his first top five LP as Eléor enters at five with 11,875 copies sold. Vers Les Lueurs peaked at seven in March 2012. Tracker opens at number six for Mark Knopfler (7,900 sales). His highest charting solo album is still The Ragpicker’s Dream which reached number four in October 2002.
In its sixth week inside the top 10, the soundtrack to Cinquante Nuances De Grey falls two places at seven (7,600 sales / -26%). It’s also down two at number eight for Black M with Les Yeux Plus Gros Que Le Monde in his 31st week inside the ten best-sellers. The album Des Airs De Liberté slips one place at nine in its third week in the top 10 (7,000 sales / -8%).
As the LP was released physically last week, Björk‘s Vulnicura jumps from 245 to number ten in its fifth week on the chart (6,200 sales). Her last album Biophilia was number four in October 2011.
Three albums drop out of the top 10 this week. After 30 consecutive weeks inside the ten best-sellers, Calogero moves down five places at 14 with Les Feux D’Artifice. In its third week on the chart, Madonna‘s Rebel Heart is already out of the top 10 as it falls eleven at number 18 (3,937 sales / -53%). It has sold 29,267 copies so far. Her last studio album MDNA had spent four weeks inside the ten best-sellers in March and April 2012. The compilation NRJ Hit Music Only 2015 is down nine places at 19 in its third week in the top 250.
In its 23rd week on the chart, Soprano‘s Cosmopolitanie moves back up 17 places at eleven (5,800 sales). Helped by its physical release, Yael Naim‘s Older climbs a massive 146 places at twelve in its second week inside the top 250 (5,195 sales). Her self-titled album Yael Naim (with “New Soul”) peaked at six in February 2008.
Dosseh gets his first top 20 LP as Perestroïka debuts at number 13 (5,000 sales). To Pimp A Butterfly gives Kendrick Lamar his first top 20 album too, as it is new at 17 (3,950 sales). His Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City reached number 57 in October 2012. In his 36th week on the chart, Sam Smith is up 17 places at 20 with In The Lonely Hour (3,600 sales).
The rapper from Senegal Faada Freddy enters at number 22 with Gospel Journey. In its 21st week inside the 250 best-sellers, Taylor Swift‘s 1989 jumps from 42 to number 29. It’s only the album’s second week in the top 30, it debuted and peaked at nine in November.
Afrodeezia gives Marcus Miller his highest charting LP in France as it’s a new entry at number 36. Silver Rain was at 67 in February 2005. In his tenth week on the chart, Asaf Avidan is back up ten places at 39 with Gold Shadow.
