Week Ending 25th August 2013 / Albums Chart

It was predictable that Stromae‘s new album Racine Carrée would debut at the top of the albums chart, but we can also notice that its sales figures are amazing : 55,597 CDs and 25,285 downloads for a total of 80,882 copies sold. His debut LP, Cheese spent two weeks in the top 10 at number eight in June and July 2010, and this week it climbs 13 places at twelve in its 77th week on the chart (4,602 sales / +142%).

In his third week in the top 10, Luc Arbogast slips one place at two with Odysseus (17,124 sales / -5%). The compilation NRJ Extravadance 2013 stays at number three in its third week inside the ten best-sellers (11,229 sales / -17%).

Another compilation, NRJ Party Hits 2013 is down two places at four in its fifth week in the top 10 (11,106 sales / -24%). Ange Ou Démon spends a fourth week inside the top 10 as it slips one at number five for Keen’V (9,266 sales / -4%). Maître Gims also moves down one place at six with Subliminal in his 14th week in the top 10 (7,580 sales / -0.3%).

In his 29th week inside the ten best-sellers, Bruno Mars is down one at number seven with Unorthodox Jukebox (6,601 sales / -6%). The collective Tropical Family moves up one place at eight in its seventh week in the top 10 (6,404 sales / -3%).

Random Access Memories falls two at number nine for Daft Punk in its 14th inside the top 10 (6,329 sales / -8%), the album was at the top of the French albums chart for three consecutive weeks in June. Another former Number One (for three weeks in June and July), Christophe Maé is a non-mover with Je Veux Du Bonheur in his 11th week inside the ten best-sellers (5,830 sales / +2%).

One album drops out of the top 10 this week. In its second week on the chart, the compilation Skyrock 2013, Vol. 2 falls five places at 13.

Emmanuel Moire is back up seven at number eleven with Le Chemin in his 17th week in the top 250 (5,025 sales), the album spent one week at the top in May. In their 14th week on the chart, Les Stentors also climb seven places at 16 with Une Histoire De France.

Les Soul Men moves up five at number 24 for Vigon Bamy Jay in its 22nd week inside the top 250. P!nk‘s The Truth About Love climbs six places at 25 in its 49th week on the chart.

As you can find the album at €9.99, Patrick Bruel is up a massive 32 places at 26 with Lequel De Nous in his 39th week inside the 250 best-sellers (1,827 sales), the album was Number One for one week in December 2012. For the same reason, Céline Dion moves back up 39 places at number 38 with Sans Attendre in her 42nd week on the chart (1,463 sales).

In its 12th week in the top 250, Ma Déclaration climbs 13 at number 28 for Jenifer, the LP entered and peaked at two in June. Genération Goldman is up eight places at 29 in its 40th week on the chart. Will Génération Goldman 2 debut at the top next week ? Place your bets.

It’s a good week for the musical Robin Des Bois, the album moves up 13 at number 30 in its 22nd week inside the top 250. In her 11th week on the chart, Joyce Jonathan climbs seven places at 33 with Caractère.

John Mayer is new at number 66 with Paradise Valley (970 sales), so his highest charting album is still Born And Raised which peaked at 56 in May 2012. Where You Stand debuts at number 104 for Travis. They got two top 20 albums, The Invisible Band reached number 13 in September 2001, and 12 Memories peaked at 19 in October 2003.

Week Ending 4th August 2013 / Albums Chart

Keen’V gets his first Number One album as his Ange Ou Démon debuts at the top of the French albums chart with 24,919 sales. It’s his third top 10 LP, Carpe Diem reached number nine in July 2011 whereas La Vie Est Belle peaked at two in July 2012 and spent seven weeks inside the top 10.

After just one week at the top, the compilation NRJ Party Hits 2013 is down to two in its second week on the chart (22,100 sales / -5%). There is no change at number three for Daft Punk‘s Random Access Memories in its 11th week in the top 10 (9,400 sales / +3%).

In its 34th (!) week on the chart, Bruno Mars‘ Unorthodox Jukebox gets its highest charting position as it moves up two places at four (9,300 sales / +21%). The compilation NRJ Summer Hits Only 2013 stays at number five in its sixth week inside the ten best-sellers (9,300 sales / +20%).

After ten consecutive weeks in the top five, Maître Gims falls two places at six with Subliminal (9,203 sales / +15%). In its second week on the chart, the compilation M6 Hits Eté 2013 is up one at number seven. It’s down one place at eight for Christophe Maé‘s Je Veux Du Bonheur in its eighth week inside the top 10 (8,000 sales / +5%).

Last week’s new entry at number two, Olympe‘s eponymous album is down to nine with 6,800 sales (-40%). In its fifth week inside the ten best-sellers, the collective Tropical Family slips one place at number ten (6,500 sales / +1%).

One album drops out of the top 10 this week. Sébastien Patoche moves down one at number eleven with J’Emmerde Les Bobos (5,600 sales / -2%), the album entered and peaked at two three weeks ago.

In her 13th week on the chart, Zaz is back up one place at twelve with Recto Verso. It’s a good week for Les Stentors, Une Histoire De France climbs five at number 15 in its 11th week inside the top 250. The album was number three for two non-consecutive weeks in June.

The compilation Apérotubes is new at number 21. In their 29th week on the chart, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are up five places at 24 with The Heist. Chico & The Gypsies also climb five at number 25 with Fiesta in their 13th week inside the 250 best-sellers, the LP peaked (so far) at number eleven in May.

In its sixth week on the chart, Violetta – L’Album De La Saison 1 moves back up six places at 28. Jenifer‘s Ma Déclaration climbs four at number 29 in its ninth week in the top 250, it spent five weeks inside the top 10 and peaked at number two in June.

Passenger‘s All The Little Lights climbs two places at 34 in its 15th week in the 250 best-sellers. It’s back up five at number 35 for Alex Hepburn with Together Alone in her 16th week on the chart, the LP entered and peaked at three in April.

Body Music debuts at number 85 for AlunaGeorge, the album is new at eleven in the U.K. chart. Buddy Guy enters at 93 with Rhythm & Blues, it’s better than his last album, Living Proof which reached number 126 in November 2010. He also peaked at 79 in June 2001 with Sweet Tea.

Week Ending 14th July 2013 / Albums Chart

In its third week on the chart, the compilation NRJ Summer Hits Only 2013 spends a second consecutive week at the top (15,900 sales / -17%). The highest new entry is more surprising as Sébastien Patoche (formerly known as Sébastien Patrick) debuts at number two with J’Emmerde Les Bobos (14,400 sales). You can find him in the French TV show “Touche Pas A Mon Poste” in which he imitates Patrick Sébastien. Sébastien Patrick (now Patoche, are you still with me ?) peaked at two on the singles chart in May with “Quand Il Pète Il Troue Son Slip”. In fact, Patrick Sébastien asked him to change his name to avoid any confusion.

Random Access Memories slips one place at three for Daft Punk in its eighth week in the top 10 (12,300 sales / -21%). There is no change at number four for Maître Gims with Subliminal in his eighth week inside the ten best-sellers (12,000 sales / -18%). It’s down two places at five for Christophe Maé‘s Je Veux Du Bonheur in its fifth week in the top 10 (10,900 sales / -27%).

The collective Tropical Family moves down one at six in its second week in the top 10 (10,000 sales / -24%). The compilation Les Chroniques Du Wati Boss is up a massive 148 places at seven in its second week on the chart (7,100 sales).

In her ninth week in the top 10, Zaz slips two places at eight with Recto Verso (6,700 sales / -16%). There is another compilation inside the top 10 as Playlist Hit 2013 is new at number nine (6,100 sales). Bruno Mars‘ Unorthodox Jukebox spends a 23rd week in the top 10 as it’s down two at number ten (5,800 sales / -3%).

Three albums drop out of the top 10 this week. After seven weeks inside the ten best-sellers, Les Stentors fall four places at 13 with Une Histoire De France. It’s also down four at number 14 for Jenifer‘s Ma Déclaration in its sixth week on the chart, the album entered and peaked at two last month. Last week’s new entry at number seven, Sophie-Tith is down to 16 with Premières Rencontres (3,400 sales / -49%).

Released physically this week, Magna Carta… Holy Grail enters at number twelve for Jay-Z as it’s at the top on the download chart (3,800 sales). This new LP is only his second top 15 album, Watch The Throne (his collaboration with Kanye West) reached number ten in August 2011. Tairo gets his first top 20 album as Ainsi Soit-Il debuts at number 17, his Choeurs Et Ame peaked at 56 in January 2009. Primal Scream‘s More Light spends a third week inside the top 250 as it re-enters at number 29, it’s the band’s first top 30 album.

Some albums move back up the chart. In its 43rd week in the top 250, The Truth About Love climbs six places at 21 for P!nk. Vigon Bamy Jay are up eight at number 24 with Les Soul Men in their 16th week on the chart, the album entered and peaked at seven in April. It’s up 18 places at number 25 for Rihanna with Unapologetic in her 34th week inside the 250 best-sellers, the LP was number three in December 2012. In its 13th week on the chart, the album Thérèse / Vivre D’Amour is back up ten at 26. C2C‘s Tetra moves up a massive 28 places at 34 in its 45th week inside the top 250, the album was at the top of the albums chart for one week last September.

Week Ending 7th July 2013 / Albums Chart

We have a brand new number one this week, and it’s not surprising to notice that the compilation NRJ Summer Hits Only 2013 is the new chart-topper as it’s up two places in its second week on the chart (19,100 sales / +7%). Indeed that same week in 2011 and 2012, the number one was the annual edition of NRJ Summer Hits Only ! NRJ Summer Hits Only 2011 was at the top for five consecutive weeks in July and August 2011, and NRJ Summer Hits Only 2012 was number one for four weeks in a row in July 2012.

In its seventh week in the top 10, Random Access Memories doesn’t move at two for Daft Punk (15,600 sales / -13%). After three weeks at the top, Christophe Maé slips two places with Je Veux Du Bonheur in his fourth week on the chart (15,000 sales / -29%). For the moment, the album has equalled the three-week reign of his On Trace La Route (in March and April 2010). There is no change at four for Maître Gims, his Subliminal spends its seventh week inside the top 10 (14,700 sales / +2%).

The collective Tropical Family is this week’s highest new entry at number five (13,200 sales). You can find old summer hits sung by artists from the 2000s including Louisy Joseph, Corneille, Jessy Matador, Tom Frager… Zaz is down one place at six with Recto Verso in her eighth week inside the ten best-sellers (8,000 sales / -15%).

The 16 year-old Sophie-Tith is new at number seven with Premières Rencontres (6,700 sales). Sophie-Tith is the 2013 winner of the TV show “Nouvelle Star”. In his 22nd week in the top 10, Bruno Mars stays at eight with Unorthodox Jukebox (6,000 sales / +3%).

Les Stentors fall three places at nine with Une Histoire De France in their seventh week inside the ten best-sellers (6,000 sales / -26%). It’s also down three at number ten for Jenifer, Ma Déclaration spends its fifth week in the top 10 (5,000 sales / -18%).

Two albums drop out of the top 10 this week. In his second week on the chart, Médine falls a massive 33 places at 42 with Protest Song (1,600 sales / -68%). After seven weeks in the top 10, Emmanuel Moire slips two at number twelve with Le Chemin.

Last week’s new entry at 13, Les Voix Basques is up to eleven for Anne Etchegoyen & Le Choeur Aizkoa (4,200 sales / +17%). Violetta – L’Album De La Saison 1 also climbs two at number 15 in its second week in the top 250.

Arielle Dombasle enters at number 18 with Arielle Dombasle By Era (2,800 sales), it’s her first top 20 album since October 2006 when C’Est Si Bon peaked at 15. This week The Heist equals its peak position (reached in March) as it climbs nine places at 19 for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis in its 25th week on the chart (2,600 sales).

The compilation FG Summerfloor 2013 is up a massive 168 places at 23 in its second week inside the 250 best-sellers. In its 11th week on the chart, All The Little Lights gets its peak position as it moves up ten at number 25 for Passenger.

It’s a very good week for Major Lazer, Free The Universe climbs 59 at number 34 in its 11th week in the top 250. Editors get their highest charting album as The Weight Of Your Love debuts at 39, In This Light And On This Evening reached number 41 in October 2009.

Week Ending 30th June 2013 / Albums Chart

It’s a third consecutive week at the top of the French albums chart for Christophe Maé with Je Veux Du Bonheur (21,198 sales / -33%) which has sold 156,654 copies in its three weeks on the chart. Random Access Memories is still at two for Daft Punk in its sixth week in the top 10 (17,899 sales / -15%), the album has sold 356,004 copies so far.

It’s summertime, so this week’s highest new entry goes to… a compilation, of course ! NRJ Summer Hits Only 2013 debuts at three (17,800 sales). NRJ Summer Hits Only 2011 spent five weeks at the top, and NRJ Summer Hits Only 2012 was number one for four weeks. Maître Gims sold more copies last week even if Subliminal slips one place at four (14,401 sales / +12%), it has sold around 161,900 in its six weeks in the top 10. It’s also down one at number five for Zaz, her Recto Verso has sold 9,428 copies last week (-8%) and around 149,200 in its eight weeks on the chart.

In their sixth week inside the ten best-sellers, Les Stentors move down one place at six with Une Histoire De France (8,100 sales / -15%). Ma Déclaration slips one at number seven for Jenifer in its fourth week in the top 10 (6,080 sales / -22%), the album has sold 53,571 copies so far. It’s a good week for Bruno Mars, his Unorthodox Jukebox climbs two places at eight in its 21st week inside the top 10 (5,800 sales / +5%).

French rapper Médine gets his first top 10 album as Protest Song is new at nine with 4,977 sales. His highest charting album was Arabian Panther which reached number 18 in November 2008. In his seventh week in the top 10, Emmanuel Moire is down two places at ten with Le Chemin (4,800 sales / -21%).

Two albums drop out of the top 10 this week. The compilation NRJ Hit List 2013 moves down three at number twelve in its fifth week on the chart. After three weeks inside the ten best-sellers, Johnny Hallyday falls seven places at 14 with his live album On Stage.

F*** Me I’m Famous 2013 enters at eleven for David Guetta (4,700 sales), the 2012 edition peaked at number five in July 2012. Anne Etchegoyen Et Le Choeur Aizkoa debut at number 13 with Les Voix Basques (3,600 sales). The compilation Fun Summer Dance 2013 is new at number 16.

Violetta – L’Album De La Saison 1 is a new entry at 17. “Violetta” is an Argentinian TV series. Elodie Frégé is up 177 at number 19 with Amuse-Bouches in her second week on the chart (3,146 sales). She was the winner of Star Academy in 2003, and this new album is her third to reach the top 20, after Elodie Frégé (number four in March 2004) and Le Jeu Des 7 Erreurs (number twelve in September 2006). Her last album La Fille De L’Après-Midi only peaked at 28 in October 2010.

Ice On The Dune is another new entry at number 26 for Empire Of The Sun (2,400 sales). It’s a lot better than their Walking On A Dream which was at 60 in March 2009. Alela Diane gets her second top 40 album as About Farewell debuts at number 31, the other one was To Be Still which peaked at 14 in February 2009.

In its tenth week in the top 250, All The Little Lights gets its peak position as it moves up eleven places at 35 for Passenger. It’s a bad week for Kanye West, his Yeezus falls a massive 33 places at number 45 in its second week on the chart (1,600 sales / -63%). Amon Amarth is new at 67 with Deceiver Of The Gods, the Swedish death metal band’s highest charting album was Twilight Of The Thunder God which reached number 116 in October 2008.

Week Ending 23rd June 2013 / Albums Chart

Christophe Maé spends a second consecutive week at the top of the French albums chart with Je Veux Du Bonheur (31,776 sales / -69%), the album has sold 135,456 copies so far. There is also no change at two for Daft Punk with Random Access Memories (21,020 sales / -43%) which has sold 338,105 copies in its five weeks in the top 10.

In its fifth week inside the ten best-sellers, Subliminal is back up one place at three for Maître Gims (12,901 sales / -32%). Around 147,500 copies of Subliminal have been sold so far. Zaz climbs one at number four with Recto Verso (10,251 sales / -34%), the album has sold around 139,800 copies in its seven weeks on the chart.

Une Histoire De France falls two places at five for Les Stentors in its fifth week in the top 10 (9,470 sales / -63%), around 93,000 copies of the album have been sold so far. Jenifer moves back up one at number six with Ma Déclaration (7,840 sales / -36%) which has sold 47,491 copies in its three weeks inside the ten best-sellers.

On Stage slips one place at seven for Johnny Hallyday in its third week in the top 10 (7,005 sales / -55%), the album has sold 46,101 copies so far. Emmanuel Moire moves back up six at number eight with Le Chemin in his sixth week inside the top ten (6,100 sales).

There is no move at nine for the compilation NRJ Hit List 2013 in its third week inside the ten best-sellers. Bruno Mars stays at number ten to spend a 20th week in the top 10 with Unorthodox Jukebox (5,500 sales / -33%).

One album drops out of the top 10 this week. In its second week on the chart, Johnny Hallyday‘s 70ème Anniversaire falls three at number eleven.

Kanye West gets his third top 20 album in France as Yeezus is new at twelve with 4,351 sales. Graduation peaked at number nine in September 2007, and his collaboration with Jay-Z on the album Watch The Throne reached number ten in August 2011.

The compilation 40 Hits 2013 debuts at 14. After their concert at the Stade De France, Muse are up 14 places at 16 with The 2nd Law in their 38th week on the chart, the album was at the top of the albums chart for three consecutive weeks in October.

Sigur Ros are new at number 18 with Kveikur, it’s their highest charting album, () peaked at 19 in November 2002. The compilation Eté 2013 is up a massive 193 places at number 22 in its second week in the top 250.

In their 23rd week on the chart, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis climb six places at 26 with The Heist which reached number 19 in March. The musical Robin Des Bois is back up ten at number 27 in its 13th week in the top 250.

13 falls 14 places at number 29 for Black Sabbath in its second week on the chart. Tal moves up twenty at 35 with Le Droit De Rêver in her 66th week inside the top 250, the album was number four in February.

The soundtrack of Man Of Steel by Hans Zimmer climbs a massive 121 places at 47 in its second week on the chart (1,400 sales). J. Cole only enters at number 189 with Born Sinner. Mac Miller is new at 197 with Watching Movies With The Sound Off, his Blue Slide Park peaked at number 175 in June 2012. In A Perfect World is new at number 215 for Kodaline.

Week Ending 16th June 2013 / Albums Chart

Christophe Maé gets his fifth number one album (out of five releases) as Je Veux Du Bonheur debuts at the top of the chart with 103,680 sales. His last studio album On Trace La Route also entered at number one in the week ending 28th March 2010 with 128,714 CDs sold. So Christophe Maé‘s number one albums were Mon Paradis (for two weeks in December 2007), a live album called Comme A La Maison (for two weeks in October and November 2008), On Trace La Route (for three weeks in March and April 2010), and another live album named On Trace La Route – Le Live (for one week in October 2011).

After three consecutive weeks at the top, Daft Punk‘s Random Access Memories is down to number two (36,994 sales / +4%), the album has sold 317,085 copies in its four weeks on the chart. It’s a very good week for Les Stentors, their Une Histoire De France is back up two places at three in its fourth week in the top 10 (25,896 sales / +89%), around 83,500 copies of the album have been sold so far.

There is no change at four for Maître Gims with Subliminal (19,063 sales / -13%) which has sold around 134,600 copies in its four weeks inside the ten best-sellers. In its fifth week in the top 10, Recto Verso moves back up one at number five for Zaz (15,611 sales / +29%), it has sold around 129,600 copies so far.

Johnny Hallyday‘s On Stage is down three places at six (15,420 sales / -35%), 39,096 copies of the live album have been sold in its two weeks on the chart. Jenifer falls five at number seven with Ma Déclaration in her second week in the top 10 (12,338 sales / -55%), but it’s not that bad as her two last albums (Appelle-Moi Jen and L’Amour & Moi) only spent one week inside the ten best-sellers. Ma Déclaration has sold 39,651 copies so far.

As he celebrated his 70th birthday on Saturday with a concert at Paris-Bercy which was broadcasted on French TV channel TF1, Johnny Hallyday is new at eight with a four CD compilation called 70ème Anniversaire (9,645 sales). In its second week in the top 10, the compilation NRJ Hit List 2013 slips two at number nine (8,520 sales / +9%). Unorthodox Jukebox stays at ten for Bruno Mars in its 19th week inside the ten best-sellers (8,209 sales / +21%).

Two albums drop out of the top 10 this week. After four weeks in the top 10, Vanessa Paradis is down two places at eleven with Love Songs (6,492 sales / -7%), her last studio album Divinidylle spent twenty weeks inside the ten best-sellers from September 2007 to March 2008. …Like Clockwork is down a massive 19 places at number 27 for Queens Of The Stone Age in its second week on the chart.

In their 12th week in the top 250, Vigon Bamy Jay climb eleven at number twelve with Les Soul Men (6,464 sales / +149%). Niro gets his first top 20 album as Rééducation debuts at 13 (6,413 sales), he reached number 53 with Paraplégique in June 2012. 13 is new at number 15 for Black Sabbath (5,941 sales), Reunion was their last charting album, it peaked at 65 in October 1998.

Joyce Jonathan gets her second top 30 album as Caractère enters at 23 with 3,718 sales. Her debut album Sur Mes Gardes was number 17 in October 2010. More Light is new at number 66 for Primal Scream, it’s their highest charting album in France, Riot City Blues peaked at 74 in June 2006.

Beady Eye debut at a disappointing number 101 with BE, their Different Gear, Still Speeding peaked at 32 in March 2011. But it’s even worse for KT Tunstall, her Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon only enters at number 240, she reached number seven in August 2005 with Eye To The Telescope.

Week Ending 9th June 2013 / Albums Chart

It’s a third consecutive week at the top of the French albums chart for Daft Punk‘s Random Access Memories (35,469 sales / -29%), the album has sold 280,091 copies so far.

There is much controversy in France at the moment about this week’s highest new entry. First, the facts : Jenifer debuts at two with her album of France Gall‘s most famous songs called Ma Déclaration with 27,313 sales. Jenifer‘s last album L’Amour & Moi opened and peaked at number three with 18,255 copies sold. Then, the controversy : France Gall didn’t like the fact that Jenifer has not informed her about that album, and Jenifer pretended she had France Gall‘s agreement. Anyway Ma Déclaration is Jenifer‘s fourth top two album, after Jenifer (number two in March and April 2002), Le Passage (number two in May 2004), and Lunatique (number one for one week in November 2007). France Gall‘s own best-of Evidemment is up a massive 88 places at number 41 (1,900 sales).

Johnny Hallyday‘s new live album On Stage is new at three with 23,676 sales. It’s rather disappointing as his last live LP Tour 66 : Stade De France 2009 was at the top for two weeks and opened with around 48,000 CDs sold.

In his third week in the top 10, Maître Gims slips two places at four with Subliminal (22,000 sales / -19%). It’s down two at number five for Les Stentors with Une Histoire De France in their third week inside the ten best-sellers (13,700 sales / -21%).

Queens Of The Stone Age get their second top 10 album as …Like Clockwork enters at eight (7,200 sales), Lullabies To Paralyze peaked at number ten in March 2005, their last album Era Vulgaris was at 22 in June 2007. Vanessa Paradis falls four at number nine with Love Songs (6,980 sales / -36%), the album has sold 94,724 copies in its four weeks in the top 10. Bruno Mars is back up one place at ten with Unorthodox Jukebox which spends its 18th week in the top 10 (6,767 sales / +31%).

Five albums drop out of the top 10 this week. A former number one, Emmanuel Moire‘s Le Chemin falls six at number 13 after five weeks inside the ten best-sellers. In its third week on the chart, the compilation NRJ By Cauet moves down five places at 14. The album Thérèse / Vivre D’Amour is also down five at number 15, it reached number two and spent six weeks in the top 10. Quelques Mots D’Amour falls ten places at 16 for Frank Michael in its seventh week on the chart. After two weeks inside the top 10, The Conversation is down nine at number 17 for Texas.

The French rapper Lacrim gets his highest charting album with Né Pour Mourir which is new at number 12, Faites Entrer Lacrim peaked at 16 in May 2012. In their 11th week in the top 250, Vigon Bamy Jay move back up 17 places at 23 with Les Soul Men (2,600 sales), the album reached number seven in April.

Megadeth enters at 43 with Super Collider, it’s a bit better than the band’s last album Th1rt3en which was number 49 in November 2011. All The Little Lights climbs a massive 86 places at 46 for Passenger in its seventh week on the chart.

Equipe De Nuit debuts at number 47 for L’Institut. Miles Kane enters at 55 with Don’t Forget Who You Are, his Colour Of The Trap peaked at number 38 in May 2011.

There is no move at two for Robin Thicke featuring T.I. and Pharrell with “Blurred Lines” in their fifth week inside the top 10 (12,689 sales / +21%). In its eighth week in the top 10, “Can’t Hold Us” climbs two places at three for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton (9,048 sales / +15%).

A former number one (for four weeks in March and April), Maître Gims slips one at number four with “J’Me Tire” in his eighth week in the ten best-sellers (8,614 sales / -6%). It’s also down one place at five for Alex Hepburn with “Under” in her fourth week in the top 10 (6,714 sales / -16%).

Week Ending 28th April 2013 / Singles Chart

There is no surprise at the top of this week’s French singles chart as “Get Lucky” spends a second week at number one for Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams. In its first full week of sales, the song sold 33,412 downloads (-14%) for a total of 72,299 in ten days.

It’s up three at number two for Robin Thicke featuring T.I. and Pharrell with “Blurred Lines” in their fourth week in the top 10 (10,500 sales / +8%). So as a featured artist, Pharrell Williams sings on this week’s two best-selling songs, that feat last appeared on the chart in the week ending 1st October 2005 when… Crazy Frog was at the top with “Popcorn” and at two with “Axel F”.

In his seventh week inside the top 10, Maître Gims is back up a place at three with “J’Me Tire” (9,200 sales / -6%). It’s down two at number four for Alex Hepburn‘s “Under” in its third week in the top 10 (7,985 sales / -31%). “Can’t Hold Us” moves up one at five for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Ray Dalton in its seventh week inside the ten best-sellers (7,900 sales / +10%).

“Just Give Me A Reason” climbs one place at number six for P!nk featuring Nate Ruess in its sixth week in the top 10. Even if it peaked at four, the song registers its best sales figures this week (7,000 sales / +3%). In their eighth week inside the ten best-sellers, The Lumineers are also up a place at seven with “Ho Hey” (5,300 sales).

Bruno Mars moves up two at number eight with “Locked Out Of Heaven” in his 22nd week in the top 10 (5,060 sales / -1%). There is no change at nine for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Wanz with “Thrift Shop” in their 16th week inside the top 10. “Play Hard” is back up four places at ten for David Guetta featuring Ne-Yo & Akon (4,300 sales), the song reached number seven.

One song drops out of the top 10 this week. After just one week inside the ten best-sellers, Maude falls a massive 22 places at 25 with “Love Is What You Make Of It” (2,139 sales / -80%).

In its fifth week on the chart, “#thatPOWER” climbs three at number 12 for will.i.am featuring Justin Bieber. “I Knew You Were Trouble.” gets its highest charting position this week as it’s up eleven at number 14 for Taylor Swift (3,167 sales), the song equals “Love Story” which also reached that position in July and August 2009.

In his third week on the chart, PSY already falls five places at 16 with “Gentleman”. “Let Her Go” is up eleven at number 17 for Passenger in its seventh week inside the top 200 (2,900 sales / +38%). It’s a good week for the 2012 winner of the UK X Factor, James Arthur climbs a massive 18 places at 27 with “Impossible” (2,000 sales).

There are two brand new entries inside the top 40. “Poupée De Cire, Poupée De Son” enters at 21 for Jenifer (2,297 sales). The song is taken from her new album Ma Déclaration which will be released on 3rd June, it will consist of France Gall‘s songs. “Poupée De Cire, Poupée De Son” (written and composed by Serge Gainsbourg) was the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest winner for Luxemburg. Taken from the second volume of Génération Goldman, “Quand La Musique Est Bonne” debuts at number 40 for Amel Bent & Soprano (1,311 sales).
