Week Ending 19th April 2015 / Singles Chart

OMI‘s “Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)” still reigns as the best-selling song in France for the fifth consecutive week in its sixth week inside the top 10 (8,500 sales / +8%). In its fourth week inside the ten best-sellers, “Lean On” moves back up one place at two for Major Lazer featuring DJ Snake & MØ (6,200 sales / +7%). “See You Again” slips one at number three for Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth in its second week in the top 10 (5,300 sales / -20%).

Two songs enter the top five this week : in her third week inside the top 10, Marina Kaye climbs two places at four with “Homeless” (3,500 sales / +3%), and “Firestone” is up five at number five for Kygo featuring Conrad in its second week inside the ten best-sellers (3,100 sales).

After 20 consecutive weeks, “Uptown Funk!” exits the top five as it’s down one place at six for Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars (2,800 sales / -18%). As two contestants sang it on the TV show “The Voice” last Saturday, Hozier‘s “Take Me To Church” jumps from 14 to number seven to spend a 15th week in the top 10 (2,800 sales).

In her ninth week inside the top 10, Ellie Goulding moves down one place at eight with “Love Me Like You Do” (2,800 sales / -10%). Louane falls five at number nine with “Avenir” in her 11th week inside the ten best-selling songs (2,800 sales / -18%). “Uncover” slips one place at ten for Zara Larsson in its second week in the top 10.

One song drops out of the top 10 this week. After just three weeks inside the ten best-sellers, “Bitch Better Have My Money” falls five at number 13 for Rihanna. Her “FourFiveSeconds” (with Kanye West & Paul McCartney) spent nine weeks in the top 10.

In his fifth week on the chart, Kendji Girac is up three places at 15 with “Conmigo”. The song debuted and peaked at number ten. In its 34th week inside the top 200, Louane‘s “Jour 1” finally enters the top 20 as it jumps from 22 to number 17. It gives Louane her third top 20 hit.

Martin Solveig & GTA move up eight places at 19 with “Intoxicated” in their seventh week on the chart. “I’m Not Rich” climbs five at number 20 for The King’s Son featuring Blacko in its 11th week inside the 200 best-sellers. It’s a good week for David Guetta, his “Hey Mama” (featuring Nicki Minaj & Afrojack) is up seven places at 21 in its tenth week on the chart.

Rihanna gets her 32nd top 30 hit in France as “American Oxygen” is this week’s highest new entry at number 25 (1,600 sales). In his sixth week in the top 200, Jason Derulo climbs eight places at 26 with “Want To Want Me”.

“The Voice”‘s effect : Vianney‘s “Pas Là” jumps from 64 to number 27 in its 15th week on the chart. The song reached number 26 in February. As Percy Sledge sadly passed away last week, “When A Man Loves A Woman” re-enters at 32 (1,277 sales). The song was reissued in 1987 when it peaked at number 26 in November.

His D.U.C. enters straight to the top of the albums chart, and “Mon Pays” is a new entry at 37 for Booba (1,100 sales). In its fourth week inside the top 200, Fréro Delavega‘s “Le Chant Des Sirènes” moves up a massive 65 places at 40.

Despite the arrival of a new big contender for the top spot, OMI spends a fourth consecutive week at the top of the French singles chart with “Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)” in his fifth week inside the top 10 (7,900 sales / -4%). The new big contender is “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth. The song taken from the soundtrack to Furious 7 moves up a massive 33 places at number two in its second week on the chart (6,600 sales / +450%). It gives Wiz Khalifa his first top five hit in France, “Young, Wild & Free” (with Snoop Dogg featuring Bruno Mars) peaked at six in January 2012.

In its third week inside the ten best-sellers, “Lean On” slips one at number three for Major Lazer featuring DJ Snake & MØ (5,800 sales / +16%). It’s up one place at four for Louane with “Avenir” in her tenth week in the top 10 (3,400 sales / -6%). Another former chart-topper, “Uptown Funk!” moves down one at number five for Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars in its 20th week inside the top 10 (3,400 sales / -13%).

Marina Kaye gets closer to the top five, as “Homeless” climbs one place at six in its second week inside the ten best-selling songs (3,400 sales / -3%). Ellie Goulding‘s “Love Me Like You Do” is down one at number seven in its eighth week in the top 10 (3,100 sales / -14%). Rihanna falls five places at eight with “Bitch Better Have My Money” in her third week inside the top 10 (2,900 sales / -36%).

In its 12th week on the chart, Zara Larsson‘s “Uncover” enters the top 10 as it jumps from eleven to number nine (2,900 sales). It’s also up two places at ten for Kygo featuring Conrad with “Firestone” in their 12th week in the top 200.

Three songs drop out of the top 10 this week. “Are You With Me” slips two at number eleven for Lost Frequencies in its 14th week inside the 200 best-sellers. The song reached number four in February and March. After ten weeks in the top 10, “Christine” moves down two places at twelve for Christine And The Queens. Last week’s number eight, Céline Dion‘s “Pour Que Tu M’Aimes Encore” is out of the top 200.

Ariana Grande is back up four places at 13 with “One Last Time” in her eighth week on the chart. The song was her first top 10 hit, peaking at number ten in March. In its fourth week inside the top 200, “Conmigo” jumps from 23 to number 18 for Kendji Girac. The Avener‘s “Fade Out Lines” moves up seven places at 19 in its 55th week on the chart.

It’s a good week for Louane, her “Jour 1” climbs nine at number 22 in its 32nd week inside the 200 best-sellers. “I’m Not Rich” is up seven places at 25 for The King’s Son featuring Blacko in its tenth week on the chart.

Martin Solveig & GTA jump from 38 to number 27 with “Intoxicated” in their sixth week in the top 200. It gives Martin Solveig his first top 30 hit since 2011 when “Ready 2Go” (featuring Kele) was number 20 in June. In its ninth week on the chart, David Guetta‘s “Hey Mama” (featuring Nicki Minaj & Afrojack) moves up nine places at 28.

“Want To Want Me” gives Jason Derulo his eighth top 40 hit in France, as it climbs eight at number 34 in its fifth week inside the top 200. A former Number One in the U.K., “King” is up a massive 23 places at 40 for Years & Years in its eighth week on the chart.

Week Ending 5th April 2015 / Singles Chart

It’s a third consecutive week at the top of the French singles chart for OMI with “Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)” in his fourth week inside the top 10 (8,200 sales / +14% | 1,700,000 streams). There is a new contender for the top spot, as “Lean On” moves up two places at two for Major Lazer featuring DJ Snake & MØ in its second week inside the ten best-sellers (5,000 sales / +43% | 1,300,000 streams).

In its second week on the chart, Rihanna‘s “Bitch Better Have My Money” stays at number three (4,500 sales / +15%). After 18 consecutive weeks inside the top three, “Uptown Funk!” slips two places at four for Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars (3,900 sales / -3%).

There is no change at number five for Louane with “Avenir” in her ninth week in the top 10 (3,600 sales / +3%). Ellie Goulding is also a non-mover at six with “Love Me Like You Do” in her seventh week inside the top 10 (3,600 sales / +6%). In its eighth week on the chart, Marina Kaye‘s “Homeless” climbs eight places at seven (3,500 sales).

To celebrate the 20th birthday of the release of Céline Dion‘s album D’Eux, there has been a campaign by the famous Canadian singer’s fans, and… “Pour Que Tu M’Aimes Encore” jumps from 41 to number eight in this week’s chart (3,300 sales / +230%) ! The song spent twelve non-consecutive weeks at Number One from May to July 1995.

In its tenth week inside the ten best-sellers, “Are You With Me” is down two places at nine for Lost Frequencies (3,100 sales / =). “Christine” doesn’t move at number ten for Christine And The Queens in its tenth week in the top 10 (3,100 sales / +11%).

Two songs drop out of the top 10 this week. The Weeknd‘s “Earned It” falls five places at 13 in its 12th week on the chart. It’s down seven at number 16 for Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney with “FourFiveSeconds” after nine weeks spent inside the top 10.

Zara Larsson‘s “Uncover” gets closer to the top 10, as the song is up one place at eleven in its 11th week inside the 200 best-sellers. “Firestone” climbs two at number twelve for Kygo featuring Conrad in its 11th week on the chart.

As her new album Reason debuts at three, Selah Sue moves up a massive 47 places at 14 with “Alone” in her 22nd week on the chart (2,700 sales). The song was her first top 10 hit, peaking at number nine last December. In his 45th week in the top 200, Sam Smith is back up eight at number 22 with “Stay With Me”.

Kendji Girac‘s “Conmigo” jumps from 27 to number 23 in its third week on the chart. “Ailleurs” is up four places at 27 for TLF featuring Skalpovich in its third week inside the top 200.

Booba is new at number 28 with “LVMH” (1,600 sales). It’s also a good week for Makassy, his “Doucement” climbs five places at 33 in its fifth week on the chart. Calogero‘s “Le Portrait” moves back up six at number 34 in its 24th week inside the 200 best-sellers. It was number 13 in December.

“See You Again” opens at 35 for Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth (1,200 sales). The song is taken from the soundtrack to the movie Furious 7, Wiz Khalifa reached number nine in June 2013 with “We Own It (Fast & Furious 6)” (featuring 2 Chainz).

Madeon‘s “You’re On” (featuring Kyan) is a big climber, as it jumps from 88 to number 36 in its sixth week on the chart. “Hey Mama” is up 40 places at 37 for David Guetta featuring Nicki Minaj & Afrojack in its eighth week in the top 200 (1,100 sales). Jason Derulo gets his tenth top 50 hit in France, as “Want To Want Me” climbs 15 at number 42 in its fourth week on the chart.

Rihanna gets a 13th top three hit in France as “Bitch Better Have My Money” debuts at number three with 3,917 sales (in four days, as the song was released last Thursday). She got five Number Ones, with “Don’t Stop The Music” (for two weeks in October and November 2007), “Man Down” (for five weeks in July and August 2011), “We Found Love” (featuring Calvin Harris, for five weeks in October and November 2011), “Diamonds” (for three weeks in September and October 2012), and with Eminem‘s “The Monster” (as a featured artist, for three weeks in November 2013).

In its fourth week on the chart, “Lean On” jumps from 15 to number four for Major Lazer featuring DJ Snake & MØ (3,500 sales | 953,000 streams). If the song is the first top 10 hit for both DJ Snake & MØ, it’s the second for Major Lazer as “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)” (featuring Busy Signal, The Flexican & FS Green) peaked at four in June 2013.

Louane‘s “Avenir” moves down two places at five in its eighth week in the top 10 (3,500 sales / -17% | 953,000 streams). Ellie Goulding slips one at number six with “Love Me Like You Do” in her sixth week inside the top 10 (3,400 sales / -3% | 991,000 streams). In its ninth week inside the ten best-selling songs, “Are You With Me” falls three places at seven for Lost Frequencies (3,100 sales / -11% | 657,000 streams).

The Weeknd‘s “Earned It” is down one at number eight in its seventh week in the top 10 (3,000 sales / -12% | 924,000 streams). Rihanna has two songs inside this week’s top 10, as her “FourFiveSeconds” (with Kanye West & Paul McCartney) stays at nine (2,900 sales / -6% | 800,000 streams). It’s down two places at ten for Christine And The Queens with “Christine” in her ninth week inside the ten best-sellers (2,800 sales / -13% | 573,000 streams).

Two songs drop out of the top 10 this week. After 14 non-consecutive weeks in the top 10, Hozier‘s “Take Me To Church” falls five at number eleven. The song spent five weeks at number two from January to March. Last week’s new entry at ten, “Conmigo” is down to number 27 for Kendji Girac (1,400 sales / -48%).

In its tenth week on the chart, “Firestone” climbs nine places at 14 for Kygo featuring Conrad. Marina Kaye is up six at number 15 with “Homeless” in her seventh week inside the top 200. Louane jumps from 26 to number 22 with “Jour 1” in her 31st week on the chart.

“Dead Inside” is the second highest new entry of the week at 23 for Muse (1,500 sales). The song is their fifth top 30 hit in France. “Psycho” opened at 13 two weeks ago (it falls 25 places at 58 this week). In its eighth week inside the 200 best-sellers, “I’m Not Rich” moves up three at number 28 for The King’s Son featuring Blacko.

“Ailleurs” climbs a massive 64 places at 31 for TLF featuring Skalpovitch in its second week on the chart. If it’s Skalpovitch‘s first top 40 hit, “Ailleurs” is the third for TLF, as “Pimp Ma Life” (featuring Rohff) reached number 37 in March 2008, and “Le Meilleur Du Monde” (featuring Corneille) peaked at 28 in April and May 2011. “Intoxicated” is up three at number 32 for Martin Solveig & GTA in its fourth week in the top 200.

This year’s winner of the TV show “Nouvelle Star” Emji is new at 35 with “Toboggan (You Are The One)” (1,100 sales). Makassy gets his first top 40 hit, as “Doucement” jumps from 73 to number 38 in its fourth week on the chart.

“Uptown Funk!” remains at the top of the French singles chart for the 11th consecutive week for Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars in its 14th week inside the top 10 (5,200 sales / -5% | 793,000 streams). Hozier‘s “Take Me To Church” is back up one place to spend a fifth week at number two in its 11th week inside the ten best-sellers (4,700 sales / -8% | 849,000 streams). The Weeknd slips one at number three with “Earned It” in his third week in the top 10 (4,500 sales / -13% | 936,000 streams).

Louane gets her second top five hit, as “Avenir” climbs four places at four in its fourth week inside the top 10 (4,300 sales / +10% | 752,000 streams). “Je Vole” was number two in January. In its fifth week inside the ten best-selling songs, “Are You With Me” moves down one at number five for Lost Frequencies (4,100 sales / -7% | 600,000 streams). Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney stay at six with “FourFiveSeconds” in their fifth week in the top 10 (4,000 sales / -2% | 164,000 streams).

Christine And The Queens falls two places at seven with “Christine” in her fifth week inside the top 10 (3,900 sales / -7% | 517,000 streams). She’s still at number ten with “Saint Claude” in her seventh week inside the ten best-sellers (2,800 sales / -22% | 504,000 streams). It’s a good week for Ellie Goulding, her “Love Me Like You Do” is up one place at eight in its second week in the top 10 (3,500 sales / -5% | 893,000 streams). Ed Sheeran‘s “Thinking Out Loud” slips two at number nine in its sixth week inside the top 10 (3,400 sales / -13% | 612,000 streams).

In its 19th week on the chart, “I’m Not The Only One” gets its peak position as the song is back up four places at 14 for Sam Smith. As contestants of the TV show “The Voice” sang it last Saturday, “Chou Wasabi” jumps from 52 to number 15 for Julien Doré featuring Micky Green in its 31st week inside the top 250 (2,200 sales). It also reached number 15 in November.

As the video was released last week (and with lots of talk about it in France), “Toute La Vie” moves up a massive 99 places at 18 for Les Enfoirés in its fourth week on the chart (1,800 sales / +350%). “Attention Au Départ” was their last top 20 hit, it peaked at number five in March 2013.

Rihanna gets this week’s highest new entry at 22 with “Towards The Sun” (1,541 sales). The song is taken from the soundtrack to the movie Home. In its fifth week inside the 200 best-sellers, “Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)” climbs eleven at number 25 for OMI.

Chris Brown & Tyga are up five places at 32 with “Ayo” in their eighth week on the chart. Maroon 5‘s “Sugar” also moves up five at number 34 in its seventh week in the top 200. “On S’Fait Du Mal” gives Black M his tenth solo top 40 hit, as it jumps from 43 to number 35 in its 16th week on the chart.

“Intoxicated” debuts at 41 for Martin Solveig & GTA. It’s the first top 50 hit for Martin Solveig since 2011 when “Ready 2Go” (featuring Kele) was number 20 in June. Brigitte‘s “A Bouche Que Veux-Tu” is back up eight places at 45 in its 27th week inside the top 200. As the sang was used during the battles on the TV show “The Voice” last Saturday, “Eblouie Par La Nuit” re-enters at number 46 for Zaz. It peaked at 13 in September 2014.

Week Ending 30th November 2014 / Singles Chart

Even if David Guetta‘s “Dangerous” (featuring Sam Martin) is still the best-selling song in France for the fourth non-consecutive week in its eighth week inside the top 10 (8,800 sales / +47%), there are lots of interesting moves in this week’s singles chart. In his third week inside the ten best-sellers, Josef Salvat moves up five at number two with “Diamonds” (4,200 sales / +35%). Rihanna‘s original version spent three consecutive weeks at the top in September and October 2012.

“Uptown Funk” climbs a massive 19 places at three for Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars in its third week on the chart (4,200 sales / +163%). It’s Mark Ronson‘s first top 10 hit, and the sixth for Bruno Mars. The song equals the latter’s “Locked Out Of Heaven” which also peaked at three in February 2013. In her third week in the top 10, Emma Louise jumps from ten to number four with “Jungle” (4,100 sales / +71%).

Sia moves down three places at five with “Chandelier” in her 27th week inside the top 10 (3,800 sales / -12%). The song was number two for 15 non-consecutive weeks ! In its 11th week inside the ten best-selling songs, The Avener‘s “Fade Out Lines” slips three at number six (3,700 sales / -3%). Kendji Girac is also down three places at seven with “Andalouse” in his eighth week in the top 10 (3,400 sales / +10%).

This week’s highest new entry goes to Alonzo with “Même Tarif” (featuring Booba) at number eight (3,300 sales). His “Y’A Rien A Faire” reached number twelve in October. In its 22nd week inside the top 10, “Prayer In C (Robin Schulz Remix)” falls four places at nine for Lilly Wood & The Prick And Robin Schulz (3,100 sales / =). It’s also down four at number ten for Tove Lo featuring Hippie Sabotage with “Stay High (Habits Remix)” in their 15th week inside the ten best-sellers (3,000 sales / -3%).

Two songs drop out of the top 10 this week. After just two weeks in the top 10 (so far), Meghan Trainor‘s “All About That Bass” moves down four places at twelve. Soprano falls five at number 14 with “Cosmo” in his 16th week on the chart.

Beyoncé was very close to get her seventh top 10 this week as “7/11” opens at eleven (2,300 sales). “Beautiful Liar” (with Shakira) was her only chart-topper, for two non-consecutive weeks in April and May 2007. In their fifth week on the chart, Timmy Trumpet & Savage climb five places at 15 with “Freaks”. Hozier‘s “Take Me To Church” moves up seven at number 19 in its tenth week inside the top 200.

From the original score album for “The Hunger Games – Mockingjay Part I”, James Newton Howard is new at 23 with “The Hanging Tree” (with Jennifer Lawrence‘s vocals, 1,600 sales). In his sixth week on the chart, Calogero jumps from 39 to number 25 with “Le Portrait”. It’s a very good week for David Guetta, his “Lovers On The Sun” (featuring Sam Martin) is up 15 at number 28 in its 22nd week inside the 200 best-sellers. The song spent three consecutive weeks at five in August and September.

Shy’m gets her 10th top 30 hit as “L’Effet De Serre” climbs a massive 24 places at 29 in its third week on the chart. Lenny Kravitz moves back up six at number 32 with “The Chamber” in his 23rd week in the top 200, the song peaked at eleven in September.

As they are Number One in this week’s albums chart, Alain Souchon & Laurent Voulzy jump from 137 to number 41 with “Derrière Les Mots” in their fifth week on the chart (1,000 sales). It debuted and peaked at 35 in October. AC/DC‘s “Rock Or Bust” enters at number 42, it is their seventh top 50 hit in France.

It’s the first top 10 hit for the featured artists, and the third for Black M as a solo act (he had three with Sexion D’Assaut).

The weekly “Danse Avec Les Stars” effect : John Legend is back up a massive 26 places at 19 with “All Of Me” in his 39th week on the chart (1,700 sales). The song spent two consecutive weeks at number four in May.

In his second week inside the 200 best-sellers, Josef Salvat jumps from 146 to number 22 with his own version of Rihanna‘s “Diamonds” (1,600 sales). The original version was Number One for three consecutive weeks in September and October 2012. “You & Me” is back up ten places at 25 for Disclosure featuring Eliza Doolittle in its 39th week on the chart. “Animals” gives Maroon 5 their seventh top 30 hit in France as it climbs five at number 27 in its tenth week inside the top 200.

Selena Gomez gets this week’s highest new entry with “The Heart Wants What It Wants” which debuts at 30 (1,300 sales). The song is her second top 30 hit, “Love You Like A Love Song” (with The Scene) reached number 17 in September 2012. In its seventh week on the chart, Hozier‘s “Take Me To Church” moves up five places at 35. It’s up 14 at number 37 for Calvin Harris featuring Big Sean with “Open Wide” in their second week in the top 200. “Alone” enters at 40 for Selah Sue. The song is her third top 40 hit, after “Raggamuffin” (number 18 in November 2010) and “This World” (number 33 in April 2012).

The 2013 French Singles Chart

“Get Lucky” is the best-selling song in France for 2013 for Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams (360,000 sales). The song was the first (and still only) one to sell more than 30,000 downloads in one week, it even did it twice (38,887 in three days for its first week on the chart, and 33,412 the week after), and spent eight non-consecutive weeks at the top from April to July.

“Blurred Lines” is at two for Robin Thicke featuring T.I. and Pharrell (292,000 sales), it was Number One for six weeks in June and July and sold 20,555 copies during the week ending 9th June. Stromae has two songs inside the top five : “Papaoutai” at three (217,000), and “Formidable” at five (186,000). They both reached the top.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have two songs inside the ten best-sellers, their chart-topper “Thrift Shop” at number four with 206,000 downloads (featuring Wanz, Number One for eight consecutive weeks from January to March), and “Can’t Hold Us” at eight with 163,000 (featuring Ray Dalton, number three in April and May).

Avicii‘s “Wake Me Up !” is at six with 171,000 sales, the song spent two weeks at the top in August and September. Bruno Mars‘ first single taken from his very successful album Unorthodox Jukebox, “Locked Out Of Heaven” is at number seven (167,000 sales). It’s the best-selling song that didn’t get to Number One, it peaked at three in March.

Three acts own two songs inside the top ten, and Maître Gims is the third one. At nine, “J’Me Tire” spent four weeks at Number One in March and April (161,000 sales), and you can find “Bella” at number ten (159,000 sales).

2013 was another great year for Rihanna, “Stay” (featuring Mikky Ekko) is at eleven (139,000 sales), and her chart-topper from 2012 “Diamonds” is at 19 (116,000). Another song from 2012 is inside the top 20, at 12 with Adele‘s “Skyfall” (135,000 sales).

It was not a very successful year for both acts in the albums chart, but “Scream & Shout” is the 13th best-selling song in 2013 for will.i.am featuring Britney Spears (135,000 sales), the song was Number One for one week in January. At number 14, you can find a song which refused to die : Asaf Avidan & The Mojos‘ “One Day / Reckoning Song” spent its first week in the top 10 in September 2012 and was still there in March !  Its peak position (number two) was only reached in February.

The 2012 X Factor UK winner James Arthur is at a very good number 15 with “Impossible” (128,000 sales). The first 2013 chart-topper, PSY‘s “Gangnam Style” is at 16.

“Just Give Me A Reason” is at number 17 for P!nk featuring Nate Ruess (121,000 sales), it was in the ten best-sellers for nine weeks and peaked at four in March and April. Number two in April, Alex Hepburn‘s “Under” is at 18 for 2013 (117,000 sales). “Watch Out For This” is at number 20 for Major Lazer featuring Busy Signal, The Flexican & FS Green (112,000 sales), the song reached number four in June.

Week Ending 11th August 2013 / Albums Chart

There is a new Number One in this week’s albums chart, and this is a bit of a surprise. First, the facts : Luc Arbogast enters at the top of the French albums chart with Odysseus. Luc Arbogast was a candidate in the season 2 of the French version of the TV show “The Voice”, he didn’t go that far in the competition as he was eliminated during the first live show. He only reached number 71 in February in the singles chart with “Cancion Sefaradi”. Another candidate, Olympe entered at number two with his eponymous album two weeks ago.

There is no change at two for the compilation NRJ Party Hits 2013 in its third week in the top 10. There are two compilations inside the top three as NRJ Extravadance 2013 debuts at number three. Last week’s new entry at the top, Ange Ou Démon is down to four for Keen’V.

In his 27th week inside the ten best-sellers, Bruno Mars slips one place at five with Unorthodox Jukebox. Maître Gims doesn’t move at number six with Subliminal in his 12th week in the top 10. It’s down four places at seven for Daft Punk‘s Random Access Memories in its 12th week inside the top 10.

The compilation NRJ Summer Hits Only 2013 falls three at number eight in its seventh week in the top 10. Another former Number One, Christophe Maé‘s Je Veux Du Bonheur slips one place at nine in its ninth week inside the ten best-sellers. In its third week in the top 10, the compilation M6 Hits Eté 2013 moves down three at number ten.

Two albums drop out of the top 10 this week. In its third week on the chart, Olympe‘s eponymous album is down two places at eleven. After five weeks inside the top 10, the collective Tropical Family falls three at number 13.

The compilation Tubes Eté 2013 is new at number 14, and another one, Summer 2013 is up a massive 150 places at 21. In its seventh week on the chart, Violetta – L’Album De La Saison 1 climbs four places at number 24, the LP from the Argentinian TV series peaked at 15 last month.

In its 38th week inside the top 250, Génération Goldman is back up nine at number 29. It’s a good week for Joyce Jonathan, her Caractère moves up seven places at 37 in its ninth week on the chart, it reached number 23 in June.

Zaz‘ eponymous debut album climbs seven at number 40 in its 166th week inside the 250 best-sellers, the LP spent nine consecutive weeks at number one from June to August 2010. Her Recto Verso falls three places at 15 in its 14th week on the chart.

Cheese moves up eight at number 41 for Stromae in its 75th week in the top 250, the album peaked at eight in June and July 2010. In its 80th week on the chart, Lana Del Rey‘s Born To Die climbs six places at 42, it was at the top of the albums chart for two weeks in February 2012.

In its 38th week on the chart, Unapologetic is up eight places at 45 for Rihanna, the album spent ten weeks inside the ten best-sellers and peaked at number three in December. Talk That Talk is Rihanna‘s highest charting album, it reached number two in the week ending 27th November 2011 (the chart-topper was Adele‘s 21).

Week Ending 14th July 2013 / Albums Chart

In its third week on the chart, the compilation NRJ Summer Hits Only 2013 spends a second consecutive week at the top (15,900 sales / -17%). The highest new entry is more surprising as Sébastien Patoche (formerly known as Sébastien Patrick) debuts at number two with J’Emmerde Les Bobos (14,400 sales). You can find him in the French TV show “Touche Pas A Mon Poste” in which he imitates Patrick Sébastien. Sébastien Patrick (now Patoche, are you still with me ?) peaked at two on the singles chart in May with “Quand Il Pète Il Troue Son Slip”. In fact, Patrick Sébastien asked him to change his name to avoid any confusion.

Random Access Memories slips one place at three for Daft Punk in its eighth week in the top 10 (12,300 sales / -21%). There is no change at number four for Maître Gims with Subliminal in his eighth week inside the ten best-sellers (12,000 sales / -18%). It’s down two places at five for Christophe Maé‘s Je Veux Du Bonheur in its fifth week in the top 10 (10,900 sales / -27%).

The collective Tropical Family moves down one at six in its second week in the top 10 (10,000 sales / -24%). The compilation Les Chroniques Du Wati Boss is up a massive 148 places at seven in its second week on the chart (7,100 sales).

In her ninth week in the top 10, Zaz slips two places at eight with Recto Verso (6,700 sales / -16%). There is another compilation inside the top 10 as Playlist Hit 2013 is new at number nine (6,100 sales). Bruno Mars‘ Unorthodox Jukebox spends a 23rd week in the top 10 as it’s down two at number ten (5,800 sales / -3%).

Three albums drop out of the top 10 this week. After seven weeks inside the ten best-sellers, Les Stentors fall four places at 13 with Une Histoire De France. It’s also down four at number 14 for Jenifer‘s Ma Déclaration in its sixth week on the chart, the album entered and peaked at two last month. Last week’s new entry at number seven, Sophie-Tith is down to 16 with Premières Rencontres (3,400 sales / -49%).

Released physically this week, Magna Carta… Holy Grail enters at number twelve for Jay-Z as it’s at the top on the download chart (3,800 sales). This new LP is only his second top 15 album, Watch The Throne (his collaboration with Kanye West) reached number ten in August 2011. Tairo gets his first top 20 album as Ainsi Soit-Il debuts at number 17, his Choeurs Et Ame peaked at 56 in January 2009. Primal Scream‘s More Light spends a third week inside the top 250 as it re-enters at number 29, it’s the band’s first top 30 album.

Some albums move back up the chart. In its 43rd week in the top 250, The Truth About Love climbs six places at 21 for P!nk. Vigon Bamy Jay are up eight at number 24 with Les Soul Men in their 16th week on the chart, the album entered and peaked at seven in April. It’s up 18 places at number 25 for Rihanna with Unapologetic in her 34th week inside the 250 best-sellers, the LP was number three in December 2012. In its 13th week on the chart, the album Thérèse / Vivre D’Amour is back up ten at 26. C2C‘s Tetra moves up a massive 28 places at 34 in its 45th week inside the top 250, the album was at the top of the albums chart for one week last September.
